no really.... she is. just watch.

YouTube - Crazy girl on train (with funny subtitles)

obviously she isnt saying what the subtitles say but thats what makes it funny.

also....it is ACTUALLY soulja girl.

Captured by another rider the video of the woman's rant, directed at an elderly MARTA rider, has become an Internet sensation, getting heavy viewing on YouTube.com and other Web video sites.During the confrontation the young woman refers to herself as "Soulja Girl," repeatedly uses the N-word and threatens an elderly woman. After getting tips identifying the young woman as Ziyad, MARTA police charged her with simple assault and two counts of disorderly conduct.Investigators told WSB-TV Channel 2 reporter Tom Jones they were able to identify the elderly passenger and after speaking with her they arrested Ziyad. Her mother told WSB-TV's Monica Pearson Ziyad is bipolar and was off her medication when the attack took place.http://www.wsbtv.com/video/16257156/index.html
"I was shocked," said Ziyad's mother, Elaine Sabree. Sabree told Pearson her daughter was off her medication because, "She didn't believe she was bipolar."At first other passengers don't interfere during the minutes-long attack, but finally one man can be heard telling "Soulja Girl" to "chill." Instead of taking that advice she turns on the other passengers, accusing one of rape.Eventually a male passenger confronts her and appears to knock her wig askew. After repeatedly screaming "I'm pressing charges, I'm pressing charges," the woman exits the train. After learning of the video MARTA police launched what they called "an immediate and aggressive investigation into the incident.""I pray this is a wake up call for her," said Sabree. "Someone could've gotten hurt."MARTA officials said they will work with the solicitor general's office to prosecute Ziyad to the fullest extent of the law.The elderly woman has been identified as Mary Freeman. Freeman's son, Richard Freeman, is the head football coach at Morehouse College. He told Pearson his mother doesn't want to go on camera because she, "doesn't want to make the girl feel bad." He said his mother was never angry at the young woman and Freeman knew Ziyad was troubled."

Im bi-polar too lacy. and i do not act like that when off my meds at all.
its weird to see that. It makes me think maybe they arent bipolar. schizophrenic or suffering mass paranoia maybe.

but i guess theres more extreme cases.

I just get happy then sad then angry then happy again. but drugs keep that from happening.

its weird to see that. It makes me think maybe they arent bipolar. schizophrenic or suffering mass paranoia maybe.Yes I tend to agree with you. I suppose it just erks me because it seems that society likes to focus on all the negative aspects of bi-polar disorder to the point that they have made the disorder something for everyone to fear. Like all the criminals of the world have bi-polar disorder and if you haven't committed a crime yet its awaiting.

Even in movies they often make the villain to be some psycho killer that just happens to have bi-polar disorder.(Usually a female) Not all people with these disorders are totally derranged and there are good aspects of being bi-polar. Not that I am suggesting that its great to be bi-polar but it would just be nice to focus on the postive aspects of the disorder instead os always the negative ones.

Bi-polar people of often a lot more creative than 'normal' people.
They can get a lot accomplished in a short amount of time due to energy surges.
We can be totally fearless:mrgreen: which can lead to danger but...
We can at times be the life of the party:mrgreen:
We can be loads of entertainment:mrgreen: if you can handle us for that long:lol::clap:
And there are some other side effects that maight be considered a good thing or bad depending on how you look at it and from who's point of view. I won't get into that one though:?

The thing that really gets me is if you ever mention that you are bi-polar the general reaction is 'why would you ever want to admit something like that?':?

To me when people make statements or comments like this it is almost said in a surprised tone. I mean....its not like we can help having a brain chemical disorder....like we wanted to be this way or something. Its almost like if you don't feel shameful about being bi-polar , that you ought to and I just don't .
Why should I? I don't have anything to hide and am not out intentionally hurting anyone...

but i guess theres more extreme cases.Yeah maybe..

I just get happy then sad then angry then happy again. but drugs keep that from happening.
I get happy and sad and excited and angry and scared and have all kinds of emotions all throughout the day.
BUT if something really upsetting happens it can knock me back to being really depressed but it takes quite a lot to do that.
Unfortunately I have had long term ups and downs that have lasted for years and it is the most painful thing. I would rather have broken bones any day.

Do you mind me asking you what type of meds you have been put on?

Lithium? Epival? something else?

I take effexor and epival but a low dose.

but I don't pull of sh*t like this.

I can get into trouble but it is usually done by myself
ie...racing my motorcycle, taking on more responsibiity than I can handle......and some other stuff:roll:
but  I think that is just one whacky kid. Maybe she is on drugs.

if not.....what gives you the right to judge or denounce her being bi-polar?

just b/c not all people that have bi-polar doesnt do shit like that doesnt mean it cant happen.

Im on Lamictal 150mg x1 a day and Klonopin .25mg x2 a day (or more if i need it)

I used to be on effexor but it wasnt really effective in treating bi-polar issues because its used for depression and often times depression meds work for a while on bi-polar people and then they slowly stop working. i was on it for 6 months fine before it started not working. Ive never tried lithium or any of the 'harder' drugs for bi-polar. I dont have a very extreme case of it. just lows and highs. and i tend to shop a lot more when Im hypo-manic. so that kind of sucks, but i like things. :P

Ive tried a lot of other drugs but seriously lamictal probably saved my life. my moods are so stable now and Ive been on it two years. its probably the best drug around. no weight gain. no long term side effects. the short term ones being the typical dry mouth, tiredness ect which goes away after about a week. i suggest everyone who is bipolar research the drug. its not for everyone but its much better than the alternatives like lithium which are much harder on the body and stuff.

Im guessing she has quite a few more issues than just bi-polar disorder. I'd say she probably suffers from extreme paranoia and maybe even schizophrenia. as implied in some articles ive read the old lady never spoke a word to her. meaning she was likely hearing voices if that is true.

additionally like lacy mentioned its quite possible that she may have been self medicating with illegal substances. which would cause reactions like that.
