the 14 has more CC's and is STILL slower. ive seen many many races between the 2 bikes and the busa always wins. the busa was built to be a factory race bike ready for the track out of the box. the 14 was cheaply built to beat the busa and still cant.
stock the new zx14 is faster than the busa, it also apparently rides better and has a smoother feel to it than the busa (at least that's what the video showed/said). Now if we're talking about going to the drag on a given day and the two come pitted against each other... I'll have to say the busa will win. I say that because the busa seems to have more parts available for modding, and is more often modded. Stock, zx14, random encounter, busa. Zx14 riders also tend to keep it stock and use it for highway and canyon riding from what I've watched on youtube while people who buy the busa go balls to the walls and mod the hell out of it making it a death trap/demon with turbos and nitrous and god knows what else lol.

Either way they are fast as hell and I will prob never buy one for the sake of..well..living

lol you cant go off of youtube videos and comments. you need to ride these bikes yourself and or experience them racing first hand. never been on a zx14 and dont care for them in any way. not a huge fan of the busa either but i HAVE ridden one. way too big of a bike for me and the zx14 probably isnt any different. both bikes are stupid fast and have unusable power at times. like you cant just full throttle those bikes they'll flip right back on top of you. even leaning up and putting your weight on the front of the bike wont keep it down. nothing like your front wheel coming up over 100MPH on you. i personally wouldnt go over a 1000 CC and i really like the honda cbr 600 rr. very good all around bike and is capable of beating higher CC bikes fairly easy.

heck yeah, I keep hearing some honda 1000 or 1300 can beat the busas and zx14s but I never bother looking into it. The smaller bikes are more fun too because it's easier to flick them around. A 600, shit even a 250, is more fun for around where I am, long curvey country roads, just begging for someone to take a bike out and ride on them. Now if I was somewhere with a freeway that looped it like a lot of big cities, I would go with a 1000. Only turning is on the corners on the city streets and then you have the extra power to have some fun once you get on the freeway.

I personally think a 600 is the perfect size bike. It's not too much power where it becomes too easy to get yourself in trouble, but at the same time it has the power to go stupid fast and will beat just about any average car you'll come across on the highway. It's also lighter, not as light as the 250 but still light enough to do hard turns and really lean into it on the back roads or track. The 250 has the advantage of being a better learner bike and is easier to flick around than the 600, but the lack of power in comparison to the 600 is a turn off. You can full throttle it and it'll wind up instead of taking off, but for my skill at this exact moment, I think that would be perfect because you can ride it hard without browning your pants :D

600 is the smallest i would go. 250s are a joke. its more of a scooter. i got twice the power on my quad :P
and ya the honda cbr 1000 rr could probably keep up with the busa pretty good. its a cbr 600 rr frame with 400 more CC ;)

Think if you put the rear lid on that bug, it will be a real sleeper.
It is a real nice restoration. I'm covered in paint stripper mess from cleaning the paint off mine

Of coarse my favourite vintage car is the '79 Corona SL
