I thought so too, just wanted a second opinion. Thanks600 and 400 if you ask me...more focal points equals more light coverage and since they are lower watts you have less heat. Less heat equals better efficiency and will allow you to get the lights closer in order to increase light intensity. Of course all of this depends on set up but it is my experience that two points is better than one.
already have the lightsId Just get 2 600 watters at that point. The increased efficiency would be worth it imo.
But that would work perfect either way. hahaha
Magnetic. Gonna run a 400 and 600 watt HPS for flowering. Still in veg under a 1000W full spectrum MH. I'm gonna use the MH bulb for the first few weeks of flowering to prevent stretching as much as i can.Damn! Either way its a fuckin good set up.
What kind of lights do you plan to run in each and are the ballasts digital or magnetic??
I already have the lights. Also my room's not wired for 2000 watts.I say two 1000's would be better

Or is it you who doesnt know about canopy management?almost every single picture I see of a 400 or 600, has popcorn buds lol and then guys are like ohhh they look great! lmao get a 1000w hortilux and never look back.. these guys with 400 and 600 dont know about light penetration....
Lol finding a CMH can be a pain in the ass sometimes though. Ive brought it up to my local idiot hydroshop owner and everytime he has some remark about how they dont make them or he think they are some type of plasma lighting and i just cant get into his thick skull.
As for vegging with 1000w, thats always seemed like a waste of energy to me if you're going to be flowering with 1000w's as well. Yeah it might make them veg a bit faster or keep them tighter but you should still have wasted light coverage. To each their own though.
You beat me too it. 600w plus canopy management plus a good exhaust equals being able to keep the lights much closer. Which means no popcorn and a bunch of medium sized, dense ass buds. It's only science though. The inverse square law or something like that...lolOr is it you who doesnt know about canopy management?
