1st "real" grow.. Advise from experienced ppl appreciated

yea, I'm starting to see with seed breeders its just a roll of the dice. .. I want 3 things. .. yeild, potency & flavor. .. if I can find all these in one plant. Perfect. But I've come to the realization that might be unrealistic, so if I can have different plants that posess each of these qualities I would be satisfied. As far as the veg and flower thing go, I'm good now. Just bought a grow tent to veg. And as far as strains go. .. any suggestions? I know everybody is screaming tga , and I prob will grab something from them. But I wanna hear something. Else, I'm really thinking about tangerine dream from barneys farm, I'm thinking bout pineapple chunk, and I was thinking about getting blueberry maybe. . If u cant tell, I'm really into flavors. . Cuz where I live, we get good weed in all kind of flavors but I can never get my bud to taste as intense as the weed I buy, I tried, molassas, flushing like crazy, feeding no nutes. .. I mean my bud tastes good. .. but the taste or smell is not nearly as strong as the weed I buy

Also, I'm interested in high yielding indicas. It seems the indica plants I've had where small yeilders. Now, I've only had 2 indicas so I don't have too much experience with them but do u think I just had a runt seed? Or should veg indica plants longer? (That's what I'm currently doing) on my first grow I had a cotton candy plant that seemed as if it was all sativa, it was a huge yielder but it grew too big. . In 1 month veg, it was 5 feet. By the end of flower it was 6 feet. . And that was just way too big for my space, I know I could have topped it, & I would if I still had it but unfortunately I flowered out all the clones. . A mistake I will never make again, now that I have a seperate veg area I will always keep clones of my favorites. . But now I'm just high & rambling lol

whats good ? I was on here checking out your grow, few things came to mind. Sometimes the seed companies arent as reliable as you may be led to think, I go through it with dispensaries. So some of your plants may not be what you think they are. Second why you buy autoflower? Cannabis Ruderalis is what makes up most of the autoflower strains and it doesnt yield as much or have as much THC as C Indica and C Sativa. Dont believe me look it up. So skip that autoflower crap if you can. Try this site http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/home they have everything you can think of to help you learn and expand your knowledge....plus they sell seeds. I personally cant vouch for them because I get clones from disp. or I get seeds from experienced growers. Ive heard great things about them though. Third genotype is genetic makeup and phenotype is physical, phenotype can be affected by environment, and bad phenotype can be expressed through bad genetics. So for you to really know if its genetics you would have to make a couple runs with said strain. Next time you pick a mother to clone you should pic the best genetics out of as many beans as you can. Oh if you want a good yielding plant try purple diesel its has a lot of nodes so it can get really dense with the correct training. Also if you want good weed try to stick to land-race strains because they are more disease resistant than most check this out http://smokereports.com/strainreports/1928/Landraces .

Thanx a lot bro. .. I'm just I terested in the autos because I've never had 1 ... just wanna grow 1 to have the experience. .. and I wish I had your problem! !! No dispencaries over here. . I've still never seen a dispensary in person. So internet seed banks are all I got, and now that they passed a law banning the use of gift cards for international purchases, it makes it so that u have to put ur info out there with a way to be tracked. .. but that's a whole nother story!

And I couldn't find it, but a long time ago, I was trying g to guess my yield. .. I wanted over an oz per plant. .. u told me if if I didn't get atleast an oz per plant I could come to montana, punch u in the face & smoke all ur bud. . Funniest this g u ever said! !! I still laugh at that from time to time. .. mad I couldn't fi d the page u said that, this thread has got so damns long .. but anyway. .. funny shit , and I did get that oz off of each plant as u said I would lol

Sims man I see you switched over to Hydro. Im telling you man you gotta buy some TGA subcool beans if you want heavy trichome production. My Ace of Spades and my other TGA keepers by week 2 of flowering are covered in resin. There leaves are covered in resin before they even get there buds starting. Its a big yielder also so. The taste is awesome you will find a few different phenos. The Blackcherry soda crossed with the Jack the Ripper. My keeper pheno is a perfect mix of both parents. It gives off a lemon berry fuel smell. Im telling you if you want that top notch ganja man make the switch to Super Soil make your own or order a tga charge pack. Im telling you man it will change your bud for the better. Ive tried it all nutes, hydro, aero, and the supersoil consistently produces the best smoke. All I do is give the plant water and molasses two times during flowering at day 30 and 45. It makes your life a lot simpler and you don't spend all the money on the nutrients.

Or you could go with the Cheesequake it can be a heavy yielder of rock hard buds. Or plushberry is pretty dank. If that's what your looking for Indicas. Theres some new TGA strains out that are indica dominant that are pretty dank I got to try some stuff at Hempfest that was so tasty. Marionberry Kush, Dr Who and Jesus OG are all winners. You could go with the Older beans man like Ripped Bubba or the Qush both pretty good turn purple and have amazing tasts.
