I had a FB page.. used it maybe for a month got in contact with a few people I use to know.. novelty wore off within 2 months or so..

I do like pintrest but dont post there.. like the ideas

instagram.. nah.. liked the idea.. but who am I gonna send pics too?? lol

Twitter (have like 4 followers and I dont know how they got there...lol)
.. ok.. I know I should hate this.. but.. I kinda enjoy it .. esp news stuff.. I have been able to speak with a 2 *celebs* who responded back to me.. David Allen Grier and John Henson .. I dont tweet much.. and still think it's more useful as a news tool..

I pretty much use RIU as my social media.. is that sad?? lol

any sort of chat apps I use is generally skype with the family and yahoo messenger both are rare...

Yeah it's all shit and distractions. People posting other people's comments to be cool...originality is dire now!

I have a twitter acct just to be able to know when to listen to espn1000 for certain segments I enjoy, and a few beat reporters, like j.d. from the waddle and silvy show.

Social sites are a distraction, they are a fad. They will eventually become obsolete when a better solution comes out.

I don't use any of those, never have even visited the homepage of any of them. Its a goal of mine to never get sucked into FB, or Tweet anything in my lifetime.

Dude that's pretty funny, cause that is EXACTLY how I am.

Had a Facebook, deleted it quick.
I browse pinterest all the time, but don't have an acct.
Never even gave instagram a thought, who cares about a bunch of hipster pictures.
I have a twitter, and actually like it a lot too haha. It cuts out all the BS of normal social sites. (I follow news, bands, shows, movies, and stay up to date with new material, its nice)
Skype for the fam.
And RIU is basically my only social media...

It's not sad haha.

tell the mofo's that bought all of that fakebook stock that it's just a fad.
I'm sure they will have a different opinion....!

Social media's here to stay. But, it's not for me, I lingered here from late 2008 until I set up my first account in 2010 (I'd still be using it, but I forgot the username, password, and what alias I was living under when I registered.) I came back when I got out a couple years ago, and loitered again until I finally manned up and created this account. Between pot, legal issues, and having been in IT, I know how bad social networking actually is.

I use Facebook. Makes it easy to stay in touch with distant relatives. Most of it is fake as hell though. I think social media is here to stay and will only become more engrained in people's lives. Unfortunately.

Isn't that stock still selling well below it's expectations? Initial purchasers have still lost money
