A few of my friends grow and we'll visit each others garden to learn and swap strains. Thing is I'm in SoCal growing within the limits of state law. I don't need to gorilla grow or do shady shit.
Now a few years ago I used to hear about a lot of home invasions and that's good enough reason to stay tight. lipped, but it seems that recently growing has exploded, dispensaries are everywhere and as a result robberies have gone down. I still play it a little safe by not telling everyone about my hobbies but truth be told a lot of people know I grow and I'm not that worried about it.
The same can't be said for others. Many places its still illegal and penalties are harsh. If weed is 400oz I'd treat it like gold and not be as trusting.
Like my firearm instructor used to say, we're big boys and we play by big boy rules, so use your head and stay safe .

I had 2 partners last season both of which I've known my whole life. One of them got paranoid and snapped on me while at the spot and we've only spoken briefly since it happened in the summer... not worth losing a lifetime friend over, thats why I think I'll go solo this seasoninvolving your friends or family is a horrible idea.. you will most likely regret telling anybody...

lol the woods are creepy. i was out checking my plants one night and had coyotes howling all around me. same thing happened one night i was field dressing a deer. luckily the coyotes kept their distance and i dragged the deer home.

I have set people up growing for the past few years..... works out great just as long as they agree to all terms.
I supply all the equipment clones and knowledge....they pay in the amount of 1/2 the product produced for a years time
during that year i show them all aspects of growing needed to produce 3-4 oz plants, pest and and using the medicene in edibles and making bho budder
basically 4 crops of 15 plants = I get 6-8 pounds for the year or more
