help with nitrogen?? (peroxide)

i have 2 4 week plants in veg now,
they look like they needed a boost, i just made a half cap of 3% peroxide into 160z. of water..

is this okay to use on my plants??? :hump:

Way to help the guy out...

Anyway; greenthumb the peroxide will only help provide oxygen and kill any bacteria to and around the roots. If your looking to provide your plant with nitrogen your going to need to buy a fertilizer of some sort. I would wait for a more experienced grower to suggest a specific kind of fertilizer (aka fert or nute) Hope this helps.

i had the same problem man. just mix in some used coffee grounds in the soil around the plant. it seems dumb, but coffee grounds are very high in nitrogen content. make sure to use used grounds though, caffeine wouldn't be any good...

*sigh* he was being sarcastic. Read my above post through. He more or less was pointing out that it contains NO nitrogen! If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?!

H202 is hydrogen and oxygen. there is no nitrogen in peroxide. If U need nitrogen U can purchase it either in an all in one fertilizer such as miracle grow & FloraNova or you can buy Nitrogen separate.

I may not have given U a valuable answer the first reply, but I was trying to teach an important lesson- always check the bottle for the NPK.
if it doesnt have an NPK on the bottle, then its probably not a fertilizer.
