But what does "an associated force" mean? It seems like the guy who sells the terrorists bomb supplies would probably qualify, but what about the unknowing neighbor or the hired hand? Can we just kill them

too in good conscience? Quite unfortunately, the government isn't exactly sure. The memo suggests that anyone who "present an 'imminent' threat of violent attack against the United States" qualifies for
assassination "a lawful killing in self defense," but that "does not require the United States to have clear evidence that a specific attack on U.S. persons and interests will take place in the immediate future." In other words, an "informed, high-level" official can order the killing of any American citizen that was "recently" involved in threatening "activities." As Isikoff points out, the memo fails to define both of those terms.

well i once say a dude standing around cops with an ar 15 dressed in military uni and wasnt arrested. this dude could be one hunted down. or when shit gets bad, anyone who wants gas, food, water, shelter or trying to escape bullshit will be the target. threating is a matter of who it is calling the shots.

so this makes me wonder? we hear of all these drone strikes in the middle east killing insurgents (good thing) and then some bystanders...

will the US have "bystander casualties"

I seem to have missed the part in the article saying they will use drones to carry out the assassinations?

Edit: it says it in article title but I cant open it atm, never mentions drones in what you clipped out for us though, can you c/p that part for me to read too?

3000 bystanders was infact your country's justification for starting your little soirée in the Middle East, but when yous kill innocent people its "America, fuck yeah" instead of "Allah, fuck yeah"...they're totally different, obviously.

(What was that sarcasm font?)
