Really stupid question about the growth cycle!

OK guys i have a dumb question.... but rather easy for anyone who knows what they are talking about to answer.

My whole plan was just to plant the seed "Durban Poison", give the plant care, and harvest when it turns mature in like 3 months. This is all outside, I
cannot do anything inside, because i still live with my parents. My question is, do the plants only turn ready for harvest in certain months, or do they mature after a certain amount of time!

So tell me if my plan will work:

plant the seed, nurture the plant, water regularly, harvest in like 2-5 months!

if not please tell me speciffically what i must do to properly harvest my weed!

Thanks all!:peace:

The plant needs no sleep. However, to flower it needs 12 hours of continuous darkness. Therefore it won't flower until after the equinox in the fall.

Plant your seed, it will start its life in bloom. Will not get very big and might revert back to verge just before summer. You have the right hours of light till about mid April, depending where you live.

I think that if you still live with your parents you should wait till you have your own place to grow if it were found growing on there property they would be liable and Texas has some pretty strict drug laws

you are aware plants "sleep" in their dark cycle, and y is it my outdoor plants start flowering, over a month before the equinox, at 14 hrs, daylight 10 hrs dark. The indoor guys really should stay in their area of expertise. Outdoor plants begin getting ready to flower by the solstices, (summer solstice, the longest day, after that light hrs decrease) usually about 2-3 weeks after the solstice the preflowers really start coming in, then stretch then flowers, there wouldnt be any outdoor season here if flowers didnt come till the end of sept
