Hi all, i need some help regarding shooting powder.

on the packet it states to use in the last 3 weeks of the flowering cycle, ex. for an 8 week flowering strain will you start to use at week 5? or week 3 to compensate for the 2 week flush?

also do you use every watering or every other watering? currently only watering once a week so if every other watering I will have only gave them 2 feedings where on the site it says to use 3 times.

last question does shooting powder extend flowering time?

thanks in advance all input is appreciated :)
:peace:

the house and garden feeding schedule only calls for a 3 day flush. I know you need to use it late in flower as that is when your buds are putting on weight and that's when it's the most effective. I would start feeding it at week 5 and feed till the end of week 7 and give them a 1 week flush

thats how i use it but 50% for first week with a small feed 6-800 ppm. then i do one full feed at end first week and next watering hit with full shooting powder in plain water (soil) or a sub 400ppm nutrient solution in hydro

I've used it. It is not expensive. One large envelope treats 100 gallons and you only water with it once. I use a jewelers scale to measure mine out by the gram for each plant. It works! I caused a SSH to begin setting a second set of buds and it continued to the day of chop.

Thanks for the input... respectfully, it says one pack treats 25 gallons ( I think maybe it's more)...which is why I thought it expensive. And even says can put up two packs for "best results" however most on RIU said it burned their ladies.

Can you share you schedule for feeding with s.p.

I plan on running a side by side and posting for all on RIU. Looking to come up with a feeding sch consensus first...

My buddy uses this stuff and it works better than any bud sweller out there. Expect your harvest to be extended my about 3 weeks though, small price to pay to increase yield.
