New grower..I have two 6 day old sprouts that I have a question about. First for the one that is growing, is that the root growing out above the soil? and if so how can this be corrected? as for the second question, since I saw no sprout after 6 days I went and dug through the soil to see if there was any growth and found that..just wanted a second set of eyes to confirm that seed is indeed dead.
is that the root?

The picture on the left is the seed popping out the soil. The picture in the right looks like (2) sprouts. I can see the tall spout on the left, and what appears to be another sprout folded up close to the soil on the right of the picture. You can see the cotyledons. Did you plant (2) seeds in one container?

lmfao its not dead but if you keep fucking with it, it will be haha... thats not the root.. dont plant them so close next time.. keep them in seperate pots... you should actually try to water it then seperate the two... transplant one into another pot.. be gentle and you will be fine. Good luck

Its possible, I'm not sure what that's called when a seed does that, two eggs in one seeds. Same as twins in animals. I can see that happening ever so often. I believe you. Interesting.

Yep that's twins, make sure you get a 7-10 gallon pot...you want ample root growth with twins and she will drink more. That is if one isn't killed off by the other

pry them up out of the soil carefully and replant each into it's own small container. i used 4" pots but you can go to as much as 6".i wouldn't plant in 3gal or 5gal. wait until they grow then repot. it really isn't a hard thing to do. just be very delicate with the little seedlings. you'll be ok.
