Hey guys, first growth hydro, check em out, in my limited opinion they look healthy, what do you think? Started with some bagseed, then ordered Ice strand. Anyone tried Ice by the way?
The little yellow you see is because I had a slight accident, the way I figure first growth is when you learn how to avoid them later. What happened is that I left old water for far too long, I think nute burned the lower leaves and they started to yellow. However, once water was changed, fresh nutrients added, it's been growing vigorously. The stalk got so thick, it looks like tree bark, makes me so happy!
I had an 400HPS, but something happened, ballast just buzzes and no light comes on, so reduced to CFL for now, should be getting the HPS issue fixed within a couple of days. Also tried some bagseed growing in soil, but not as successful, hydro has been the best easily.
DYI hydro bucket system, aireated, HP at 6, temp 75, humidity 50-60. Using GH nutes, Micro, Gro and Bloom. Any suggestions? Any advice welcome! One of the plants (pic6) has a droopy tendency, he's been maltreated as a youngling (my own inexperience) and was stretched and droops often, leaves have become huge and the rest haven't caught up yet, but he's been bouncing back!!
Also, I believe one started showing sex and I think it's a fem! Pic 4 has a closeup, am I right? White pistils
Anyway, here are some pics!! First 5 pics is my oldest growth, I started another 2 weeks after the first. The last 2 are of my newest batch.
