so the constitution is great when it comes to you keeping your guns but it's bad if it makes a mexican couple's kid an american citizen? by taking the bait, you proved yourself dumber than most fish.
Irrelevant and misdirection.

no one's talking about confiscating anyone's guns, you liar. any ban would be a ban on future sales. the sky didn't fall in 1994, and it won't this time if they even manage a ban.
Give them time. Why do they want everyone to register their guns if not for future confiscation?

Easy red, they're going to try* the likeliness of success is grim. They can't even muster enough democrat votes in the senate and the house is fucking laughing at them for even trying.
Most were laughing before all this. But remember that Lord Obama has never considered the Constitution to be a restraint on his actions.

actually he is correct it did expire and ironically you could buy pre-ban weapons new all the way through the ban. It was pointless all it did was make weapon manufacturers billions and increase their lobby strength. Well the ones smart enough to stock warehouses full of pre-ban barrels and magazines. If we don't get to another war we will have shit tons of surplus being sold off also ammo will get cheap. All this argument on this subject is pointless it has a snowballs chance in hell of passing.

I think a limited bill, like maybe with just better background checks, could pass.

they had the option to renew it, and didn't. gun laws were expanded, not further restricted. you fucking douchebag.
didn't = couldn't The second line means the opposite of what you apparently mint. (can u fined the homophone?)

I don't know the democratic party is just as surprised as I am that they're not all on board. The house has little to no interest it's looking grim to be honest it would have to be something completely trivial right now they're just wasting time throwing bills around that have no chance waiting for this to blow over.

actually, scalia does get to decide, along with other justices who are less pro-gun than he. silly rabbit.
1 vote of 9 is not the decider. He also said the government can seize your property just to profit from it. Clearly unconstitutional.

roberts is 1 out of 9, he did some big league deciding this summer!

He was still just 1 vote of 9. Not 1 vote of 1. My favorite judge is the one who adjudicated me not guilty as a teenager because the prosecutor didn't show up on time for my trial.

But wasting time is what Congress does best!

mmm now were trying to pass assumptions and speculation as fact?
was it an impossibility to get the votes (couldn't)?

or did they simply not get the votes (didn't)?

better than trying to pass of neo-nazi white supremacist studies as fact!
