It's still funny if she has the good grace to return to the place, and unknowingly have her "specials"...
Life tips...you couldn't make this stuff up. :)
She's one of those vulgar just for shock and vulgarties sake bitches. Thinks she knows everthing and I'm pretty sure she stole a small bag out of my pocket once at a party. Shes a friends sister inlaw so I see her on occasion, not someone I associate with. What kind of fool does shit like that and continues to go back!? She's iggy.

When I was young the recommended tip was 10%...then it went to 15%...now the accepted norm is closing in on 20%.

Why is the accepted norm for tipping going up?

i tip if the service and food are good. servers only maky about $2 an hour. and they usually know what's best on the menu. so it's worth 20%.

Because our country is money hungry and the price of living is going up and you can't live on minimum wage anymore ;)

We tip 20% for good service. We have tipped 50% for service beyond the call of duty-only a couple of times.
I never tip in COD :)

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 6 seconds. stupid rules

I tip 50% to my coffee stand ladies and 30% on food.

I'm a solid tipper but I want my stuff right the first time and I want a non-bitchy server.

If they do their job well, don't give me hell, and leave me alone while I eat = good tip for sure.

We don't tip here in the UK either, if we do it's because of great service not because minimum wage isn't enough to cover the bills, I don't understand how the US government can allow this to happen? If the establishment can't pay a fair wage from the profits they make they shouldn't be in business, expecting people to pay for both their meal and then their service separately seems a little crazy that and that also someone could work their arse off and still not earn a fair wage to reflect the work they have put in, is food that cheap in the states that the restaurant owners can't afford to pay their staff that they couldn't function without?

Forget the tip amounts . Im shocked that the waitress got fired. Why is it that the god fearing are always the biggest assholes? I would have just waited til he came back in and made sure his meal got some of my devil loving herpes.

most the time servers make about half of minimum wage... restaurants are complete money makers man.. only people really that need have money coming from the place is kitchen and managers. you guys pay everyone else.. where i work the only thing youre touching for under 15 dollars is an appetizer. so my boss is doing insanely good and he has more places then just where i work. one is even more money
