Evening All,

Ive now been growing this strain for a few months and had no problems up to now!! I have 4 plants under a 400w lamp and have always had good results!!

These girlies are 6 weeks into 12/12
I consider the first 2 to just really be stretch so dont really start my count until they are showing signs of pistles
So that said they are prob 3 to 4 into flower and not looking good

I did have a big problem with temps for the first month and couldnt resolve (bought a 1/1 tent and just couldnt seem to keep temps right)
Highs of 40 and lows of 12!!
Im wreckoning this is my problem but is there any way of sorting??
For the last two weeks ive gone back to my old room and temps are now back to 24 to 18

My probs are as follows:

Leaves seem to be stretching upwards and dont looked relaxed at all
Tips are curling down and slightly back under on themselves
Not much sign of bud growth at all

I gave a mate 2 clones and his are looking class

Is there any rescuing these babies or not??

Help massively needed

Cheers
Sonny

looks like an n deficiency to me. Can be common in flower just because of there need for smaller amounts of nitrogen. Some people cut the n a little too much though.

It's definitely not N deficiency.

They appear quite dark green and there is alot of foliage around the centre.

If it were me i'd back off on your nutes a little. Don't cut them out just reduce strength for now.

Very strange. However if you haven't seen this until now and are familiar with the strain, if the only variable that's changed is the temp problems then you have to lean towards that being part or all of the issue.

maybe this link will help. best one i found so far...

but id say either temps, or n overdose.. seeing as above me said people cut back in flowering. it looks like u didnt and tht explains the dark leaves and a n def has its leafs curl under like that.
id say u got a nlockout. but im no expert. lol

That's a very nice link.

If you look down at N toxicity it talks about the claw. That's what his leaves are doing.

If I remember rightly sonny grows in coco with canna coco nutes that are 5-4-3 NPK so there is no change to bloom formula once hitting flowering. As its a 2 part formula using the same for flowering.

But plants still use N during flowering. Here are my plants at the end of their 3rd week of 12/12. My NPK is 6-3-8 the whole way through with a few little extras.

There are 4 plants there.

Class link that, thanks.

still no answers as to how best to treat problem and whether its a total waste of time to keep??

so far j has come up with less nutes, 1 ec for the next week, do we think the leaves will start to relax and sit more natural??

cheers

Unfortunately the CLAW never fully rectifies so you still see clawed leaves.

If it were me in your situation I would feed next time at 1.2EC and test runoff EC. I'll bet you a pound to a pinch of shit that its going to come out around 1.8EC meaning they're being over fed.

Let me know how you get on.
