Mothers and Cloning

I have an issue and I need some feedback. I had six mothers and somehow, they all died on me. I am not sure the reason but it really isnt important. I need to replenish my stock and need feedback on the best way to do that. I do have one mother in training that is about there but that isnt enough to keep me supplied with new clones. I have several plants that I just moved into flowering. Can I pull some of these and use them to take clones and use them as new mothers? I use the SOG method so they didnt fully veg. They are about 6 weeks rooted. I also have some that are about 5 weeks into flowering and just now developing some buds, can I use these? I have read varying and some conflicting information so I am wanting to know if anyone has experience on this and how they handled it. Thanks in advance for feedback.

I have heard of people taking clones from plants as far as 4 weeks into flower and they rooted, then reveged themselves once rooted. Me personally, Ive never done it. I would take 1 cutting from a flowering plant just to see what happens so you know for future knowledge, but i would reveg one of the plants you just threw into flower. Anything past 2 weeks into flower takes about 3 weeks to a month to reverse. But if JUST SWITCHED means a week, it will only take about 2 weeks, but its also gonna depend on the strains. Goodluck.

i've taken cuttings a week before harvest. rooting took atleask 3weeks and reveg atleast a month. begins with strange leaves but straightens itself out. jillybean and plushberry were the strains that i grabbed cuttings from so late

shouldn't be much issue. just take the plants you want as mothers and put them in the veg room or wherever you keep your ladies before flowering and get'em back on the 18/6 schedule

I normally veg my mother plants to become bushy monsters then after that, i normally take about 14-20 cuttings from one plant and "discard them", meaning i will never re-use the same mother plants. I hope that helps.

Do it man, it works, like previously stated it takes a while longer, but when it starts to reveg itll behave like its been topped..kind of..lots of branching...

I've got one set of plants that are a week into flowering today and another set that are 5 weeks into flower that are now starting to develop buds are a quick rate. I am thinking my best option might be to pull 4 of the plants that are only a week to be my mothers. I might take a few clones out of the 5 week ones to see what happens because they are one of the best bunches of plants I have ever had. The strains I am using are White Widow and Extrema.

For the plants that are a week in, should I pull and put them into the room where I have my mothers and let them sit under 18/6 for a few days or should I cut the clones first and then pull them?
