So the way I make a batch of cannacaps I haven't seen (exactly) done before. I'll take an ounce and a half of dry high grade buds. I will kief it out until I have 8 to 10 grams of kief. Then, I decarb the seperate, herb and kief in the oven at 210 for 20 or 30 minutes. Next, I slow cook the herb directly into 200 ml of fractionated coconut oil. After 4 or 5 hours I strain the herb and place the oil into a stone pot, mix with decarbed kief and bake at 210 for fourty minutes, let cool, take out of oven, stir and re-bake covered, another 40 minuites. Finally, I strain out the kief, and add a tablespoon or two of lecithin powder to the oil before filling my caps. Out of all the different methods, variations I've tried, nothing worked as well as this. Here's the thing. I took the twice baked kief, and infused another 50 ml of fractionated oil, and ended up with some more amazing capsules? My question/ thread title, is then, how many times can you keep reusing kief to infuse different batches of oil. Has anyone experimented with ounces of kief to see how many times you can keep infusing more and more oil with the kief. Even leaving the kief in the oil doesn't seem to be as strong as just re infusing a couple more times, and then discarding the kief. Maybe rambling, I don't know... Thoughts?
