Inda-gro Induction...

looking good as always spliff! How do you get such good yields with the IG? I have yet to get much more than an oz per plant with mine in the 5x5 tent. How long are you vegging on average? I am really trying to get the best out of my 420 because it just grows such awesome quality meds

thanks, man. -=o)

i try to grow the plants out for a large, broad canopy. when i flip to bloom, i scrog the plants into a 24"x18" grid and remove all axillary growth below the canopy (but leaving the leaves intact).

aside from that, i give the roots a lot of room and the plants plenty of time to veg. the plants root out 3 inch squares, then 1gal, then 3gal, then 7gal before flipping. veg is normally 2+ months, but that's not an issue for me, as i run a dedicated veg and am able to have several plants to choose from in veg, and also to have plants spending months prepping for bloom.

Anyone know if IG's put out any uvb?

Thought I read Chaz talking about it somewhere.

if i am not mistaken, the Inda-Gro Pro-PARs put out 3% of their light as uv-b

Kinda nice to get this text from a collective I helped out. Thought I'd share it.

Whadup!!

FYI - just got test results back on the two strains we flowered under the Inda Gro lights.

Medicine Woman is always a high THC for us.

MW1 was 20%
MW3 was 15.6%
MW4 was 20.5%
MW5 was 23.5%
AND
Inda-Gro MW6 just came in at 24.4% - highest test to date and it was with the Inda-Gro. Did the Inda Gro lights increase the THC or would we have achieved that anyway - who knows? But what I do know is that there was no decline and that THC is not reduced! That is important as there are lots of other reasons to use Inda Gro - energy efficiency, plant structure, etc. BTW, our quantification testing is not off top buds. We take 1 gram for each curing jar ( a pinch top, middle and bottom). We often have 10 - 12 large curing jars for each strain in each harvest. These are ground together by the lab to get a real sampling of the average THC in the harvest.

As always be well my friend.
It'll be interesting to see how these strains test out after the pontoons go on. ahh the possibilities :lol:

Chaz,

In another thread u talked about IG 420 spacing.

Is there a chart somewhere that shows optimum light height for the amount of sf u are trying to cover?

2x2 = height
3x3 = height
4x4 = height

That sort of thing

In 420 series multiples I usually stick to a 36-48" on center spacing for stationary mounted lights on pro-grips

Lamp:Canopy spacings

Veg @ weeks 1-4: 24-36"
Mid Flower: 18-24"
Final Flower-last two weeks: 8-18"

Keep in mind that a few of us are now playing with the new pontoons so the lamp to canopy spacings will go up. You won't want to get those 660 diodes that close to the canopy. The good thing is it looks to give a final flower area of coverage @ 5 x 5 with a 20" spacing. Stay tuned because with light rails and increased spacing the setups will change for the better!

Day 40. Doesn't look to much different. The leaves under the light have lightened up some. I moved the light up to 16" from 12", thinking that the light is bleaching the leaves.

This is under the screen. Will trim this out next grow.

If I get a couple of ounces for the wife out of this, I will be happy.

yes... but is it kosher?

And God said: 'Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed--to you it shall be for food;

Did that question go right over my head ? I think it did, oh I'm so embarrassed. Lol. The whole blessed by a rabbi thing is a stupid gimmick. I read somewhere that it's original name was Jews Gold

my bad up there ^ it's was just a lil joke on the name Kosher.

she looks sexy tho!

a Rabbi needs to be involved with kosher preparation, so that's not a gimmick; i think he was continuing my pun... :wink:

if it was called Jew's Gold, i'm glad they changed it...

Rabbi blesses what ever to make it kosher. Its also the way something is prepared. For example my relatives can eat red meat but from only certain parts of the cow. It has to be cut a certain way. Im a half jew. Kosher foods you buy in the store. They really do have rabbi's at food / packaging plants. Jew gold is an urban legend or myth that jews would carry a 2 sacks of gold. One around their neck that's fake. Incase someone triea to steal it. Its really a stereo type for good business sense and being very thrifty.

Gonna try scrog for the first time View attachment 2500642View attachment 2500649Any advice?

take a look under the canopy (the grids) and remove any of the lil branches (axillary growth) that is covered by the proper canopy above. all those wee lil bastards are just gonna leech energy and carbs from the plant as bloom progresses. be sure to keep the leaves intact at those nodes, if you can. the plant will drop those later on her own.

while i was at it with the making the video in bloom i decided to go ahead and shoot a veg one too. these girls are getting so big in there, and they still need to shill for another week!

i think i'm going to take a different approach to the scrog this time with them...
