can anyone tell me why are my leafs turning yellow? any advice to fix this
i used a mixed of fox farm ocean forest, light warrior for my soil
i have ca/mag grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom. i use R/O water.
have a 600hps.
have a intake n out take vortex fan. i live in so cal so temp is at 72-77 with light, 62-64 with out light

It's perfectly normal at the end of a plants life cycle for the leaves to turn yellow like that, but your plants look like they still have a few weeks to go and the brown tips make me think it is a sulfur or possibly zinc deficiency.

spray feed with something fulvic acid or feed fulvic acid and a micro feed or anything with zink

get the ph right and don`t let that hps get too hot check the top of the plants with your hand for heat from the light at the end of the day

Them leaves should hold out till she`s at max flower but cut away anything that starts to look weak to a fungus attack.

@ the konassure i once asked a person if its ok to spray plants during flowering. He told me never to do that because it can cause mold. IDK i am still kinda of new to this. is there anything i can put in with feeding to give it zinc. ph is 6.5, the hps light is not a problem.
by the chance what do u guy say 1-10 on my plants? u can be as harsh as u want. i dont take negative comments and cry i rather work of them thank you guys

I would give the plants 10 out of ten for producing some bud, my feeling here is that you may need to load the plants with N in veg so that they are dark green before you flip them, this ensures that they have plenty of protein building blocks for the stretch....always read the leaves for early signs act immediately, this rarely has anything to do with nutrient feed schedule on the bottle. i would lean more towards a lockout not like a zinc or sulfur def is impossible but it is rare to have a micro def but the last thing you want is a micro abundance, have you checked everything? runoff ph runoff ec/ppm, cold root zone alot of things could do it. i just hate to see you add more to the problem.

With this arsenal of nutes, I think you're overdoing it a bit. Yeah, they look burned...try going half strength. R/U using tiger bloom, big bloom, and grow big simultaneously?.

Oddly enough, Fox Farm used to sell their own flush...not sure if they still do. And it's too late to transplant, so you'll need to do a medium correction with a ton of water. 5 times the container size.

Wait til' they dry, then use the bathtub. I haven't flushed in many years, but that's what I did when I first started out with Miracle grow garbage. Then re-introduce nutes at half strength upon first watering, pick 1 of those 3 bottles you have.

I think it looks like nitrogen deficiency, and if it is, at this point, it's really too late to fix. The plant isn't actively taking up nitrogen this late into flower. I usually feed my plants veg nutes for about 2 weeks into 12/12, or until around the time they stop stretching and start focusing on bud production. If you switched to bloom nutes right when you switch to 12/12, the plants will usually start showing signs of N def. around week 6-7 of flower.

I use half a doze that fox farm recommends me to use. i transferred the ladies into 5 gallon pots on 11/24/12 and started 12/12 hps on 12/9/12 so i was told not to feed for a month because the soil has nutrients. it also says in the back of the bags. my soil was one bag of ocean forest and one bag of light warrior. I only fed them on 1/5/13 big bloom half a doze from regular feeding that fox farm recommended. can this cause a lock out. i guess i am thinking if there wasn't nutrients it cant lock out but then i don't know i am still a new. PH was always 6.5 when i watered. i was told to feed do a heavy feeding of tiger bloom because of i haven't feed in so long.<<<<< what do u guys think this person if full of it or take his advise.

The fert in the medium should have been used up at this point, but if he is using all those nutes together your probably right, but the pictures look like classic N def. to me.

Lockout is caused by PH issues mostly. If the PH is out of whack, the plant isn't able to take up certain nutrients. There is a chart floating around here somewhere. I wouldn't recomend heavy feedings of anything. I start at 1/4 strength and progressively get stronger. The last thing you want to do right now is give it a heavy dose of nutes if the plant hasn't been feed regularly.

1st There is nothing natural about a plant yellowing during its grow cycle.
2nd Light Warrior contains no added fertilizer. Some humic acid, microbes and worm castings yes. And the goodies in the Ocean Forrest are probably long gone at this point.
3rd You cannot alter a mediums pH by just pouring tons of water through it.
4th Those plants look nitrogen deficient. If you are just using Tiger Bloom at this point that answers that.

I doubt there is a pH problem. Those plants just need more N.....

BS. Nitrogen is the most quickly utilized or wasted nutrient indoors and out. You cannot build protein blocks - you have no idea what you are talking about. And having the plant in good shape going into flower doesn't mean it won't/can't develop deficiencies during flower.

Lockout is ALSO caused overfeeding your plants nutes.... giving them nutes prob wouldnt do anything because the soil needs to be flushed... giving it nutrients right now wont do shit unless you foliar feed them.
