Well, after 2 weeks of dinking with Barney's farm Blue Cheese, I've decided to drop the strain as my next grow. These plants are super "sensitive". I've never burned anything with Canna Rhizotonic like I saw earlier once sprouted. Now after 2 weeks and lots of plain RO water, I made a week solution of Canna Substra Vega and bammm!....burned again within 8 hours. Usually my base leaves hang over the solo cup at 2 weeks and I'm into buckets by week 3. This stuff is going nowhere fast, a total departure from my growing style. Time to look at my seed collection for another variety. It sucks because my Pineapple Express will be done in 5 days and there will be nothing to throw in the flowering tent for another 3 weeks at minimum. Live and learn!

Good to know, Jela, this strain was on my short list to try out eventually... Just popped 3 C'99s a few days ago and my first round of Liberty Haze clones just rooted about 3-4 days back, getting ready for their first run.

I am excited about the LH in SOG; my observation so far in veg is that it is a single stem dominant strain. I have been bonsai'ing my mother plants and LH, with supercropping and topping applied, does not like to bush out much at all. This makes taking consistent sized clones a bit of an issue - BUT, unlike other strains I have grown, the largest dominant stems that I traditionally have problems getting to root took perfectly with LH. If it works out, I might just run 2-3 LH mothers and take the largest stems of each for my 18 plant trays.

jela10, sorry to hear that the Barney's Farm Blue Cheese isn't working out. It was on my list and I might try giving it a run to see how it handles the Lucas formula. Blueberry is by FAR one of my favorite crosses. It tends to leave you with a very relaxed feeling and intense body buzz. I've read that it is very sensitive to nutes, so the one you have is proven to be finicky. What do you have to replace it with?

I grew barneys farm blue cheese on my first run and i must say i was not very impressed, it was a very finicky plant it seemed like there was constantly some problem with it and its yield and potency were not that great, it did have a pretty good taste but not good enough for me to bother with it again.

Sorry to hear about the blue cheese.

I'm personally running barney's vanilla kush right now, and it has just not taken to the passive hempy setup very well either, but that might be because of me.

I'm personally going to get one of my recirculating hempy setups going again in a week or so, once a clone gets rolling. I've pulled quite a bit of weight from the recirc. hempy setup in the past and I have it dialed in pretty well. Just that it requires a shit ton of vertical space which I don't have a lot of, risking light bleaching.

Here we go...BF LSD...it has a good track record. Put 4 in fresh rapid rooters today.....I'll set up 2 hempy cups of coco and 2 cups of Grodan rockwool mini-cubes. I want to make absolutely sure my messing with the new "airy" mediums wasn't part of the problem with the BF Blue Cheese. Both the new mapito brand and the rockwool displayed the same symptoms on the BC so I doubt that was an issue. I was very careful to pre-soak both mediums in RO water of 5.8pH. If the grow cubes are neck & neck with the coco, I'll use that as the next hempy bucket medium so we all get a taste of something new on WOH. I'll dig up and auto and get it going in a closet to check out the new mapito brand.

sorry to here that Smooth. Paranoia caused me to shut down my grow-op last year, in the end it was just in my head but I would always trust my instincts.

Time to get this party started again! I have all the clones transplanted and I decided to stick with solo cups to start out to prevent any drying out or issues. Well, most of them are ok, but I have some of them falling over. How do I get these to perk up again?

Their specialty is that family of indicas .... NL, Skunk, and WW etc.

and their genetics are old skool and very stable.

Ive been smoking their Super Skunk for about 2 weeks. I would say about half the time I end up falling asleep and waking feeling really relaxed many hours later.

On a couple of occasions, Ive had a really intense head buzz with shades of paranoia; almost like a migraine but without any pain.

Very powerful smoke but doesnt bring any creativity to ones day. Consequently on a few days Ive been too stoned to go into my garden, especially because I have to crawl down a hatch to enter it.

you have most of the clones sitting in a transparent underbed storage box. .... if you had a second and turned it upside down, it would make the perfect humidity dome and at the same time it would diffuse the light. ... just a thought

Ive smoked their WW in a coffee shop. .... so what else can I say but that its was great obviously. That was years ago though.

I know what you mean about this franchising the breeders do but tbh when buying anything in this game a certain amount of skepticism must be put on hold. I would try them and see what I get.

If you are looking for some good originals of white widow I would suggest mr nice's white widow aka black widow.

I grew out a nirvana ww last grow and now that its been jarred for a month its delicious. Potent. It grew very hardy...buds took forever to fill out but then boom in a week they blew up then got rock hard by 9 weeks when cut.

First seedling to show sex for me..of course a male. Grew twice the height of others so i shoulda known. After i cut it down i was crushing it and noticed it made my fingers sticky and it had a fantastic stench. So im gonna clone it for pollen

Slowly but surely. Hopefully in the next week or two I will be getminating 5 to 10 seeds because I will at first have about 5 to 10 moms. Some in dwc and some in soil. I'm doing several moms to hopefully speed up things. So far I'm going to germinate 3 Pineapple Express seeds. Two G13 labs seeds that's not out yet ( sour diesel x white widow, sour diesel x chronic), dna genetics la woman and la confidential, reserva privada sour kush, and super lemon haze. I doing all these strains to see wich works best in the 2l hempys. I wanted to order kens GDP but its out of order on the tude. Going to try to start off with 120 2l's under 2x600's. if power permits than I may add another 600 and shoot for 144 2l's. As soon as I get these moms up and running I will definetly keep ya posted. I thought about green house seeds bubba kush but I've read mixed reviews. I going to make sure my clone cuttings are at 6 to 8 inches long.
