That leaf is awesome man, but what is not awesome is if my clones were on life support they just flat lined, in my haste to transplant the clones i accidentally pulled the roots off of both clones, i made a cloning cut on the bottom of the stem and put them both under the cfls in a glass of water and im getting ready to put them back in my bubble cloner, what do you guys think would i be wasting my time to rely on these to come threw? I'm thinking I'm going to throw them in the bubble cloner and germ 2 other seeds while i wait to see what happens, i hope this White Russian can pull threw it is the best weed i have smoked in my entire life...

i was told this was the place to find some help...
im on my second run with H&G nutes. Media is roots organinc soiless (coco based). ro water.
cant keep my plants from yellowing badly even in veg. thought it might be co2, added that, maybe nitrogen,
but floragrow has 7% so dont think thats it. running 1 nute 2 water schedule with nutes at half strength 500-600ppm.
thought they might be starving so i skipped 1 water and went to nutes and the yellowing got worse.
other than the yellow, the plants are growing fast and seem okay. weird

also, running 8 eye hortilux hps 1k's in raptors, room temp is kept at 77-80, fresh air is filtered,
ro water is temped and ph at 5.8-6.5

anyone have any ideas?

Do you suppliment cal mag? also how big are your leaves? A common problem for people who use RO water is mag deficiency this causes many symptoms,

Damn man, what r u doing lol. I can say w/o a doubt, they will not make it. Both are in rough shape and now they just lost their roots. Not good :( You could try and salvage them, but I don't have high hopes of them making it through..

So as it turns out, one of the Qrazy trains I have may be male :/ To keep things positive, I was thinking of cutting another couple clones of the Plushberry and Qrazy Train female and setting up a 3 some. I would hate to lose the genetics of the Plushberry because it is seriously one powerful stone!
Dank, I would gladly take one of those Plushberry clones off your hands simply for the sake of our science and keeping that pheno of the strain going. I promise ...I wouldn't even smoke any at all...."just for the science, yeah that's the ticket".

Have you tested the ph and ppm of your run off, I'd start there. Could remove any thoughts of salt build-up/ph imbalance. I semi played in coco for a moment, but not long enough to know what I was doing lol. One thing I do know is Cal/Mag is needed as the ions in Coco hold more than any other medium, or so i've read!! You say the Floragrow is 7%, maybe your plants are looking for more. Just a thought :)

On a note for my transplant and not that it has ever happened to me. I've read some people have had their plants droop after a transplant. I did not see any sign of shock from their move, but I also kept it moist and had a spray bottle & jug of water ready to soak during/ as soon as the transition was complete. Peace!!

This will be my setup once i get the transplant, 2.5g buckets, mini rez at bottom to catch runoff and a large enough hole to stick my wet-vac hose into, should work out.. I might also set everything up on a drip if its a good option, or just hand feed haven't decided yet. Anyone have anything to add?

Cool ... hope you post pics when its up and running.

I'm not exactly sure of the purpose of the 'mini rez' but once its working i'm sure all will become clear.

The idea behind it is to basically DTW and be able to hold a large volume of water so i wouldn't have to constantly drain pans and such. Problem i found with regular drain pans is they don't hold much water at all, and being in coco i figured id incorporate the 20% runoff that people seem to like with regular coco grows. Ill defiantly be posting pics :D

Ive thought about doing something similar many times but i just cant seem to wrap my head around how to do it with my independent scrog crate system, i could set up one per crate but i really don't like the idea of that, i really like the idea of hempys i just wish i could automate the watering process and have a catch pan that i didn't have to drain every so many days, it would also be nice to not waste nutes on 1 watering.

I like the hand watering, always have and always will. Friend back in the day was running a hydro set-up n sprung a leak (OP was above another residence). When he went to check on things, they were waiting for him. Was a big OP also. With hand watering I can check my plants as I go, be able to check for bugs or any other problems. Life can get busy, if I only had a rez to fill, i'm sure i'd miss something eventually. To each their own!!

Well, after 2 weeks of dinking with Barney's farm Blue Cheese, I've decided to drop the strain as my next grow. These plants are super "sensitive". I've never burned anything with Canna Rhizotonic like I saw earlier once sprouted. Now after 2 weeks and lots of plain RO water, I made a week solution of Canna Substra Vega and bammm!....burned again within 8 hours. Usually my base leaves hang over the solo cup at 2 weeks and I'm into buckets by week 3. This stuff is going nowhere fast, a total departure from my growing style. Time to look at my seed collection for another variety. It sucks because my Pineapple Express will be done in 5 days and there will be nothing to throw in the flowering tent for another 3 weeks at minimum. Live and learn!
