There is no other heat source in my room, and during the winter the temps seems to range from 58f - 65f. It's starting to look like things can operate in this temp range, but I'm also noticing that the cold is having some unwanted consequences as well.
So, there is this oil filled space heater: http://www.amazon.com/DeLonghi-TRD0715T-Safeheat-Portable-Oil-Filled/dp/B000A33B1C
If I were to get this thing (or something like it), it would only make sense to do so if I were to run it round the clock, all winter long. However, I have no experience with this sort of thing, and the thought of having it going while I'm sleeping or not home makes me nervous.
Does anybody know how safe these things are? Can you safely run them all the time for months?
