First time Hydroponics

Hello all I have grown a few plants and decided to try my hand at a hydroponics grow. I have put a lot of time and money into this and hope that I can get some constructive criticism about this... I have made this blog my new project. A little about me. I am a Disabled Vet and can't work due to my disability. Medicinal Cannabis has helped me more than any pill can... I currently do both... I got tired of having to buy my own and started to grown... I have a few other grows logged using smaller LED's and I splurged on this one... with my research and my own test I have found that I can produce a .5g/watt ratio using dirt and barely any nutes... maybe with a little more encouragement I can get better results. Here is a list of my room... If you see something in the pic I missed let me know.

I am a licensed grower in my state...

whatever that is good for. heres a pic of my seeds out of their "warm dark hiding spot"
I have thought about Co2 bags... any good choices???

Just a question as I do like your setup...Why wouldn't you go with an HID light system and HPS bulb? It would have been less than the LED. What kind of nutes are you planning on using?

I chose LED because I did not want to have my electricity bill spike... nute wise I plan on using GH Simple Recirculation Chart

GH nutes are very forgiving and easy,Might wanna look into the Lucas Formula it makes hydro simple.
Ive used it for a few yrs.This needs to be light proof or your gonna get Algea.

get you a PH pen and some duct tape to cover up that clear tub or else you gna get algae and slime! Once that happens your gna have to start over! once you get the pH pen then youll have to get either Ph up or Ph down so that you can be dead with a PH of 5.8 for your set up!

Thank you all for the tips, I haven't done it yet, but I plan to duct tape the shit outta my res tonight when I get some time. I'll post pics after.

you said he would have to start over meaning his res or his entire grow? to my knowledge algae doesnt affect the plants besides taking oxygen from the water
