My buds are sparkling? Need experienced help!

The buds are sparkling, like there wet, are the tryks bursting? hav a 60x loop and hard to tell. the room has gotten cold in dark under 60 F. HAVING HARD TIMW WITH just when to harvest, There a 8 week flower, going on 9weeks. Figured cold slowed grouth cause buds dont realy look ready, but looking real good, maybe there ready?. very few amber trks on just a few and 2 plants have very purple trks, realy not sure how to tell when there done. There indoor, much work, want to harvest right, would love experienced help. Thanks

Purple trichs? If you're seeing more than a few ambers then I would say chop it.

Thanks for your reply...Yes very purple trichs, thats another thing I realy want to reveg that plant, its special... working on the how to.

Only a few leves, on a few buds, on most the plants have 1 to maybe 4 ambers on them. Not evean close to 1%. Will the heads on the trichs break open or ooze THC when they've gone too long? whats up with that?

YES!!! People dont beleive me when I tell them about the purple trichs but I see you get it, Thanks! I want to reveg that plant, any advice? have no access to more plants like this one.
So how do I tell when this one is redy? Looks very much like your pics. Did u harvest right after thoes pics? Im thinking its ready.

The purple would probably just be the lens on your loupe. Look at bozos photo. They appear purple too.

If you think your trichomes are bursting (which they wouldn't be unless you put them in a microwave or something)
and can't check to see if your trichs still have their heads then you obviously don't have a 60x loupe.

The trichs are purple, no doubt, no reflection, no loop trickery. They look alot like Bozos but have like a pupal in the middle looks almost black. My mini micro is a 60x, like I said maybe there oozing or weeping. Just because you have aparently not seen purple trichs doesnt mean they dont exist! Im looking for constrictive advice if you dont have any no need to reply.

all the weight goes on the last week or so---even in the last days if you can wait!

the weight will double if you wait long enuff---that being said

it is a good thing to have your flowers look like their wet.....means the sugar is comin on---

use your loop to determine what stage the trichs r.....


they will start out clear--
then go milk white....(potency increase)
then they will start to turn amber on the heads...

once they go white 100% then it's up to you when you want to pull and how you like your medicine....

up to 50% amber= uppy medicine
50%-100% amber = chronic couch lok

Thanks for that run down. makes me rethink, They allredy looked as if diped in sugar over a week ago yesterday they started to sparckle. I still hav about 60% clear with about 50% of thoes starting to turn milky, very few amber (it gets cold in there) Last feed I desided to start to flush so just watered. (in 9th week) Someone said I should give em chching for the weight (they did not see the plants)... should i just keep flushing or feed again? and add chching? I was guessing most would be cloudy in 3 or 4 more days but i dont know. Dont want to pull too soon or starve with just water if they need more time. As if thats not enough, I need to know how to reveg my prise plant! ANY HELP, greatful

So much to learn so little time... Patience, whats that.... most likely the best advice

Hello, room first post ever, lots of reading though. I believe you B.N., I too have purple trichs. They are on my Sour Diesel in one patients room, yet the same strain in another patients room doesn't have any. The only thing I can assume is that my "purple trichs" room temp also falls to 60* and below. I will try to take a picture of this and get it posted.

45degrees......good for plants makes purple come out and extreme temp variation s good for trich production
think outside .......hot days....cold nights....


headz breaking off? from fans or? movement......touching them too much will do that-

if the majority of your trichs are NOT milk I would try and wait- for the weight factor

u want at least 100% milk white trichs for potency

at least...
once the plants reach that level maturity the potency just keep increasing .....like wine very delicate call
thats when the amber stars- or purple...

just use the force ninja man and pull when you feel--

hell you did a lot better than some by just getting that far!

I am trying to figure out how to load my pics here. I do have some amber and purple, but what I noticed last night is maybe the purple from leaf parts is showing through the translucent trichs possibly giving the illusion of purple trichs.

im bustin your balls!! that's some funy shit not to laff at you but with you--

ask me about the time I worked on my first grow and the mortgage was hanging in the balance and we were close to finnish and the flowers were so hard and I wanted to pull them and it started raining that week I was gonna pull and i paniced big big time and I called my friend who was helping guide me screaming ..."it's fuking gonna rain!!...wat should I do!....??" and he laughed and hung up on me and I stayed up day and nite for like two weeks dealing with tarps rain ,mold,....haha and everything was allright-

the learning curve is cool brah!
