Well, you wouldn't need to worry about the clone/veg stages right? And plants certainly aren't harvestable until at least a few weeks into flower, so really you are only talking about the last 4-6 weeks of flower that would be a gray area. It's admirable that you want to be sure of compliance but no one is going to check on you. If you are still concerned, then buy what you can from said dispensary or caregiver before you get to that point with your grow. Once past your first harvest and presumably have others in the pipeline, you should be good.

Thanks bro, much appreciation for your feedback. I was just trying to get a handle on what the rule system is and how it's applied. I really wasn't sure whether or not someone WOULD be checking on me, so to speak. I was wondering if there is a technical process to it... like if I had to like "sign over the rights to my plants" to the dispensary when I sign up, rendering me unable to grow as long as I'm signed up with them. I was under the impression that you could buy OR grow, but not both. Maybe this was misinfo I picked up along the way.

I just don't want to take any risks, basically. I'd like to go grab a card. I'm not sure I'll qualify, though. Chronic nerve pain and discomfort from a bad accident ten years ago. I'm a little worried about the whole "..that hasn't responded to traditional therapies for at least six months" part, as I basically prefer to take care of myself so I didn't go to very many doctors to approach my issues. I do have records of the original accident, the extremity of it is pretty self-evident. And I did go to a physical therapist about five years back to complain about my pain and issues. (he basically told me I looked like i was doing very well for someone who had my accident, so I don't know if it would be a bane or boon to offer those records as well.) I'll just bring him what I can I guess. I have chronic digestive issues that stem from PTSD as well as depression--all of which are treated very well by MJ but aren't on "the list."

It's been a while!
Question for you guys. It's my understanding that 2 members of the same household can share a grow space. Is this the case even if one of those members is a caregiver for a muti patient grow? Can the other household member just add his/her 6 personal plants to the grow room without using separate rooms? I'm thinking yes, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

How much mmj does the average mmj patient purchase a month from caregivers just trying to get a ball park amount to see how many slots I need to purchase to get up and going and still be able to afford bills etc.

I know ccm said expect to make 20k-40k a year but I am new to caregiving and not sure how much I will need/not need to produce for my patients

Definitely varies... the max you can give them is 5 zips a month. I believe. A majority of the patients I have dealt with are on avg using 3 to 4 ounces a month. some ppl max out and some don't use a lot. my suggestion would be to stockpile some unfinished product to ensure u can meet demand

Idk about that all mine have come from word of mouth and friends. Ccm would probably be a good place to start. grow fire and you will have a waiting list before u know it. add c02 if ur worried about supply

Funny you said that! I was actually researching co2 Generators today ha ha have used the ones in bags before in my 4x4 dr120 with nice results but want to step it up a bit more with something more consistent

I run a bottle. generators tend to throw a bunch of heat. the bottles last a lot longer then u would think as long as ur room is sealed and u have a good regulator.

Maine oxy for the bottle. I got my regulator of craigslist. gotta love it when ppl buy full setups and then realize its a lot of work to maintain a garden

two quick questions for my fellow care-giving mainers;

1) i was told i need to have a vendors license before i can sell to my patients and i also need to pay sales tax on the transactions , is this correct?

2) how in-depth must my financial records be? is a total sales lump sum enough for the tax-man, or must i break it all down by transaction and patient?

how many plants am I allowed to grow.... just got my card a few weeks ago.... I've ordered 2 tents a 400 watt metal halide for veg n a 600 hps for flowing.... I've got seeds of blue cheese and thc bomb but how many plants am I allowed in each stage of growth?

Six mature, flowering plants. 12 in veg which are greater than 12" high and (or?) 12" wide. Unlimited seedlings under 12".
