Finally done with building it

I'm finally done building my grow room and I'm curious to hear any advice you all might have. I would take pics but sadly no digital camera right now.

I've sectioned off part of a small room with B&W poly which is awesome; nearly no light leakage at all! The grow room is 10 feet tall, 8 feet long, and 2 feet wide. (its already a small room and its also my office) I have a total of five 1850 lumen 27watt CFL's in there now and the temps hit 75F max, 69min. A room fan is blowing on the lights and the plant during the light period. (It gets too cool if kept on during the dark period) I then built a ghetto intake system to get fresh air. It consists of a 120MM 90CFM fan tightly fit into a small cardboard box using duct tape with a small vacuum hose on the other end. I obviously made sure there was no leakage in the box. The hose sits next to the A/C vent and intakes cool air and brings it into the grow room. (It dropped temps by 5 degrees!) This also switches off during the dark period; otherwise it hits about 65F. I also have a digital thermometer with the sensor connected to one of the pots. There's also a cheap webcam that gives me the ability to see how close the plants are to the lights at any given time. I don't have anything to check humidity yet.. is something like this essential?

I plan on doing two plants to start off and once the plants get past the seedling stage I'll be adding some more lights to bring it to a grand total of 6-8 27watt 1850 CFL's. (6500k veg, 2700k flower)

What do you all think, will I have enough light? Anything else I should improve on?

No. Yes, get an hps or mh switchable ballast/bulb.

You can grow seed to bud with just cfl's but why??? Especially when you have such a grow space.

You need to research a bit what you can/should do with your space, even just look around the forum.

I don't mean to crash your plans but using CFL's the entire process isn't going to give you anything near HPS/MH. This is just a recommendation which you will probably kick yourself later for, trust me. Humidity gauge isnt necessary but you can get a mechanical one for very cheap <$15 and works fine.

Thanks but no thanks. I prefer using CFL's this grow. I'm really more interested in hearing if I've got enough light in regards to CFL's. Obviously I realize I could go buy a 1000 watt HPS and be fine but I'm trying to keep costs down.

I picked up two more 26watt lights to bring the total to 7 CFL's. Four on one plant, and three on the other. I also found an old ceiling fan/light enclosure that has three bulb inputs and can spin around 360 degrees. Makes it really easy to get lights exactly where I need them. Temps have got as high as 83F. If it gets above 85F I'll probably have to make a better intake/outake. My two seedlings are looking like they love their new home though so we'll see.
