The plant is 41 days from sprouting. It is from a bunch of seeds given to me, just regular ones though. I just started training 2 days ago, but maybe other factors turned it male, if it is definitely male anyway.

Any reg plant shouldn't start flowering in that amount of time. Sounds like stress forced it into showing it sex. If it is in fact male, you can stop it or keep it. Be entirely up to you at that point. Or if you have cats and it turns out to be male, just give them the leaves. They love it.

Sounds like from your response, you think it is male? I'll wait until I flower to be on the safe side anyway, maybe it will be hermie, hoping anyway lol

How old is your plant? Only thing I can think of since you haven't changed your cycle is that you stressed it and it showed some sort of sex, or it was stressed to much from training and it turned hermi. Did you order female seeds? Given to you? Is it auto?

Okay, just stop. You're spreading misinformation. The plant is showing preflowers. Preflowers appear when the plant is sexually mature, usually after 4 weeks of age.

There is NO evidence that this plant is flowering.

@OP. Surely you know about preflowing in veg?

mj takes longer than 4 weeks to reach sexual maturity, ...more like 8 to 12.

Hope you're already germinating some more seeds. I remember posting on your thread when this thing was a seedling.

False. It's between 4-6 weeks. I've had a plant show at 3.

This was picture was taken at 4 weeks from seed:

This is the plant now:

week 4 of flower.jpg

None of my plants have ever taken more than 5 weeks to show.

just because it worked out this time doesn't mean that will be the case for all variety's and for all seeds, ...you seem to like speaking in absolutes, ...like you're the only one with the answer.

...it's very off-putting. ...makes you sound very condescending.

I am not the only one who says 4-6 weeks is the AVERAGE time. Most people say this, and my plants seem to agree.

Excuse me if i want to correct misinformation. I don't want someone going around saying that because he sees preflowers,
it's flowering. How is misinformation of any benefit to the OP.

I'll wait until after ive flowered to determine sex first though
You could check the top nodes to see iff you can see multiple preflowers growing in one space.

I had a plant with preflowers at about that size as yours, then i looked at the upper nodes and noticed more
growths next to the preflower, behind the stipule. That's when i chopped. This was my first experience with
males. I used to buy clones instead and grew them outdoors.

usually most plants will show pre-flowers into the 4-6 week of veg. sometimes they do take longer. clones show faster but any clones that i have are mine and i already know what they are.

i usually identify the males by the small stalk growing under the pre-flower. this doesnt mean i pull it at first sign. i still wait it out untill 100% sure and even then i dont want to pull it. lol
