Super Mini Plants (Grow Journal)

I've been posting in the newbie central for the past few months on my Super Mini plants thread, well I thought it would be a great idea, to gather all the pictures, mistakes, problems, and fun all together sorted from the beginning to where I am at now as a little thanks to rollitup for helping me on sucha fantastic first grow (stealth ops style).

We will start with the box, I'm growing in box 24inches in height, 14 inches in width, and 20 inches in length.
I have 2 intake fans, 1 exhaust fan (all 80mm case fans) I have several exhaust holes throughout the box, humidity/temperature gauge and 2, 42watt cfls + 2 , 26 watt cfls. The room is also surrounded in mylar, even the door. I use promix soil, and no veg nutes, just flowering nutes appx 2 weeks in to flowering (fox farm big bloom). I topped both plants, and LST'd the shit outta them. Strain = Great white shark (both)

Week 2-3 in veg.... no progress plants stunted.. no growth no nothing , slowly dieing away.

Ahh! Recovery of some sort, Week 5 in veg, the little stick killed off all its leaves and started rejuvinating

Wooo, some hope - after 49 days of vegging total... this is day 3 in to flowering

Day 4 flowering, tied down some fan leaves and what not..

Day 7 flowering

A little water, yeast and sugar does magic (home made co2 creator for those newbies) works wonders!!!

few days later

Day 18 of flowering, and uh oh!!! sign of mold on all the top soil.. well no problem for rollitup, scrape the top soil off gently, replace it and let it dry out (ya i did a little bit of over watering... wait till the bags feel like a feather before you even think about re-watering)

Day 20 flowering, mold gone - everythings fantastic

Day 21, first day of the 3rd week in to flowering ( first sign of budding )

Day 22 flowering

Day 23 flowering, tied down a little to much I guess - oops , cracked the main stem on the little one, nothing a little taping wouldn't fix - this didnt phase her one bit

Day 25 flowering, all is well - but they got to close to the lights

Day 28, first day of the 4th week into flowering (talk about growth spurt) little one flew past the bigger one (lights were also getting to close for comfort, but nothing you cant fix with a few creative and stoned minds)

Day 30 flowering, a little bud update

Man those GWS look really good for growing in that tiny box. The three fans did the trick in there i guess. Wow it was really surprising that they came back so well considering the small one had almost no leaves on it and was crisped up so bad in the begining. So i guess that you can get some pretty good bud from two cfls over a plant start to finnish. I never would have guessed that they would have put this much in the bag for you. That should be a good supply of meds for a while. Turns out those two really did becomme super mini plants. Nicely done.

thanks dude so much! took some serious effort but i did it!!! and we still got a bout a month till im smoking!!!! Will keep it updated 100% I got lots of plans for my next grow already hahaha! hopefully i get an oz!

You've gave me hope I'm growing under 230w(actual) of cfl's since the cops put my door in and took my veg lights and 600w hps But hey its the risk we take lol. I'm now hopeful of a decent harvest from seeing this

im glad, thanks dude this is what i wanted to do for you guys! im using minimal lighting. next grow ill prob update the 2 , 26's to 42's as well . stay tuned for harvest in the next few weeks!

Even if you mess it up worse than last time, those cfls did some really good work for you vs. hid. You got as much smoke as you put in money for. Verry efficient use of lighting and space. If youd gone HID youd still be payin for it lol

ya dude! and i plan on up-ing the watts to 168 total watts, from the 136watts i got going now. so that should do a little bit more for sure keeping it cfls tho, and everything else relatively the same !. now i know how to water, and what to look for and all that so that part will be taken care of! and yeaa dude ur right this pays for its self 100%

WOW that was just your first indoor grow,,,,my first plants put out 1/2 oz between 2 of em my first grow (i used an incandecent 300 watt),,,,those are beautiful plants and i would enjoy watching your next grow or viewing the whole thing like you did with this one
