I had considered the 'petition' but on reflection I'm not sure it's the way to go. I think it might get the websites administrators backs up; which could lead them to dig their heels in. If we are to achieve our aim, I believe the best way would be through quiet persuasion and respectful charm. We all love RIU; so we need to work with them.
Please let me know ANYONE if this sounds dumb but - I think the Hempy growers here on RIU have an opportunity to unite and to create a bit of an online community here and attract more people to RIU and to Hempy growing.
A dedicated thread could be the difference between someone uploading their pics and sharing their technique or just remaining an internet spectator (which is ok too)

They look great Chaka. Keeping that filament above the plants will keep the plants growing up (as opposed to into the bulb) but most of the light will be shone above them. ... Is this traditionally how vert is done? or are you doing something different?
its sort of an interim thing. I'd probably have ran a bigger hood if I had it but I didn't want to use the cool tube in the bigger tent. haha yes im waiting for the ezclone clones to fully root so i can get more clones.. i dont have enuff space and lights to put all these new rooted clones in. im pumping out like 150-200 clones every two weeks. all those clones are gonna fill up that veg room as minature moms. the big moms are gonna go into a 10x10x7 tent in the garage. im gonna have about 680 solo cup hempies in the second room and about 40 in 5 gallon hempy buckets in the first room. like someone once said.... go big or go home. what do u think i can get off each hempy solo cup using 2400 watts? im thinking if i just get 1/4 oz in 14 weeks ill be happy. im trying to harvest every week after first harvest so i hope i can at least pull .25 off each cup. anymore is all profit baby!!!haha ... nice one smooth.
