All things that can be achieved with normal clones/seeds.speed. small. stealthy. scrog. more plants per sq ft. and again, speed
Thank youAll things that can be achieved with normal clones/seeds.
To answer the thread starters question the BIG advantage of auto flowers is you can flower them outdoors without having a 12/12 light cycle which is key when your temperature might be right but your light cycle isnt.
Yeah it was aimed at indoor growing , your point is valid.i cant control light hours and they need to stay small, so i get an auto. i no its hard to figure out.
I dont personally see any advantage. All the ones listed so far are all things that can be achieved with female clones and proper preparation.Thank you
i didn't think of that , that's a very good point ,
any advantage to the indoor grower ?

I agree.I dont personally see any advantage. All the ones listed so far are all things that can be achieved with female clones and proper preparation.
I know it can be done but Id like to see a comparison of 18/6 vs 12/12 the darkness period is key for producing great buds or so I thought.for indoors you can leave it in the veg area if thats an advantage. They are popular in places that have short outdoor seasons or bad weather
I can leave my plants in veg as long as i want to ?for indoors you can leave it in the veg area if thats an advantage. They are popular in places that have short outdoor seasons or bad weather
He stating you can flower them in any light cycle.I can leave my plants in veg as long as i want to ?
that's not a reason.
Ahh right i see,He stating you can flower them in any light cycle.
Ive never tried it but I think it can be done and your clone will just start flowering the same time as your mom once its rooted. Could be wrong thoughAs mentioned...there are pros and cons to auto flowering plants. Besides the fact that autos cannot be cloned, I'm sure that the shorter life cycle outweighs the drawbacks for someone working with minimal space.
Auto flowering plants simply put are strains which have been crossed with cannabis ruderalis which is an early flowering species.
Cannabis ruderalis is a putative species of Cannabis originating in central Russia. It flowers earlier than C. indica or C. sativa, does not grow as tall, and can withstand much harsher climates than either of them. Cannabis ruderalis will produce flowers based on its age, rather than changes in light cycle like C. sativa and C. indica varieties.[SUP][1][/SUP] This kind of flowering is also known as auto-flowering.[SUP][2] [/SUP](WIKI)
