carbon filter on floor or suspended?

ok so i have a 4by 4 by 6.5 tent im doing a cf in the room just recycling the air and ill open it a few times a day for freash air so should i hang it up or leave it on ground, whats the most effecent
lights 1000w mh and hps 12 300w cfl i have a glassenclosed hood and a vortex fan blowing it out of my tent and room the tents in

Hanging it up will give more space for plants.

My flower room is almost that exact size. I have a 4"x14" carbon filter on the floor exhausting up towards the ceiling just circulating ( scrubbing) and it works like a champ.

Hang it up high so that it takes the hot air out...heat rises

ive done it both ways, on the floor and suspended above my light, ive noticed hanging aboe my light keeps the temps down a little bit better, but barley a noticable difference really, so i think any way will work fine, it just really dpeneds on what you want to do and the room you have, if you dont have much floor room for your plants then you will prob want to hang it, if not throw it on the floor, i dont think it makes a difference, either way make sure that the filter isnt near water,humidity or getting wet at any time though because moisture causes carbon to stop working, then you will have a stinky house.

thanks everybody i hung it up my tents 4x4x6 im thinking of 16 plants insted of 9 what are your opions on that you see my lights and my space is it a good idea im thinking yea

i have learned with experience thats its not so much plant numbers that matters or contributes to total yield, once you get good at growing the plant numbers dont matter, i can get more yield with 5 or 6 plants then some avg grower with 10 plants, so honeslty i dont think it matters brother, just get good at what your doing, start small and learn it well

its not my first grow i used cfls 1 plant yeild was 73 g for the first 2 i did hps with 9 underit no side ligting yeilded 1 and ahlf lb
