He has ramped up in the last six months or so as well. It was a concetrated effort, I think I remember him announcing he was going to go 'postal'

I've ramped up as well, but, I also pretty much quit playing video games while on computer and spend my time reading, learning, trolling, bullshittin' etc. So, I'm just a lot more active. But the bear, he's REAL active lol. 56 posts per day average. That's pretty impressive. I can see how it can be done though, if you have enough conversation and input on enough threads, you'll spend all day replying to stuff.
