Ordering from Sea of Seeds

Hello rollitup forum.
I'm easing my way into the forums after reading constantly threads upon threads and learning so much.
Not really sure if this is the correct spot to post this either, so please move if needed.
I would like to acquire some good seeds to start a small crop 2 - 4 plants.
I've found a site, from this site called SeaofSeeds.com and would really like to order something.
I live in Illinois where is it illegal to grow, smoke, or have marijuana.
I see they offer very discreet shipping, and put up a few warning about liabilities and laws.
Would it be ok to order some seeds and have them shipped to my house, or am I running a huge risk?

I have never ordered from them but I have ordered from attitude seed bank and know a lot of people who also have and I've never had a problem getting my seeds. all the discreet shipping is they include a t-shirt or coffee mug or something add to the package with your seeds. If you get the stealth/discreet shipping from attitude seeds and u.s customs takes the package, attitude will re-send it. but as I said i've never had a package seized and neither have my friends. I don't consider it a huge risk at all...

I ordered from attitude once about a year ago and it came through no problem. I also just ordered on December 19th and got my order today without a problem, I have chosen the t-shirt method both times (the first time because I figured it gave a decent amount of protection, the second time was because they give you badass shirts lol). I haven't used any other distributer so I can't really give a non biased opinion, I'm just saying what worked for me. Btw I'm from the Midwest.

i just got order from them...fast service plus u get a bunch of free female seeds :)Btw i live in Kansa City and had no problems what so ever,I will be buying from them again...Great Prices and yes they were shipped to my doorstep

Thank you for the reply I do feel MUCH less paranoid about ordering seeds online and being shipped directly to my house. I am under no suspicion from anybody about growing marijuana and have told noone, except you guys, as I'm soon to harvest 1 plant I have been growing, but not very happy with the results as it was a seed from a bag of weed some time ago and sat in my desk drawer for about a year.
Do I even need to go with discreet shipping, or would it be perfectly safe to order just seeds to my house?
If its perfectly fine, I will be ordering in the very near future, and will be having some questions before ordering such as which strains I should go with (I will post my setup later), and where to order from as I'm sure there may be better places to order other than SeaofSeeds.
Would it be appropriate to post them questions here or start a new thread in another forum?

Oh sorry I would also like to say that I used all my real info and had it sent to my home address. Their shipping doesn't require a signature so if the post man tells you you need to sign for the package tell him to kick rocks because it could be a sting operation. Also I wouldn't go with pick n' mix because I think sometimes they get the single seeds confused and give you the wrong shit so make sure to buy like a 5 pack and have it kept in the breeders pack.

I took all the extra precautions and went with the "Discreet Method"

Thanks again, I think I will go with some kind of discreet packaging just to get a cool shirt or something anyway.
I'm not sure what your talking about pick n' mix.
I see seaofseeds has packages of 4 and 10, I would buy only 4 seeds, as this would be my first real grow operation and I dont think I could handle anymore than 4 plants at a time, especially doing this in a closet.

I'm looking for a good strain to grow in the closet, approx 3'x6'x around 6' high.
Using 2 40w CFL's (200w equivalent) soft light and day light 2800k, and 2 gallon buckets.
Alot of threads have mentioned White Widow as a good strain to grow, any ideas?

yep, got 2 going right now... just flipped (after 45 days of veg with the last week in SCROG ) over to 12/12.

Yes Ive read they have really fast harvest time. I plan on starting 2 plants of c99, One I will be using a LST method, swirling the stalk. The other one I will let go do its thing, and depending on them results will tell me how to grow my next crop. Scrog method to me seems a bit more complicated and I dont think I have sufficient room to pull it off.

a lil tip...if you want that uppy trippy effect , thats all I desire, then harvest no later than 52 days flower...and after a decent cure HOLD ON as you will be in for quite a ride

Thanks for the tip, around harvest time I will be looking at the trichomes with a scope to harvest when majority are cloudy, to get that uppity high as I so desire.

You will need a out 30-40% cloudy and the rest CLEAR for that
