Haha I trust your jedi abilities...lets see what you can do
I'll send you a chunk of mycelium if you're really interested...but it is probably just as easy to buy an oyster mushroom from the market, throw it in a pile of wet straw, and let nature take its course. Edible mushrooms are great for cultivation, its a nice symbiotic hobby to our own, and if you do want to throw some magic in there it makes it a whole lot less conspicuous when there are oysters flushing out of the same bag
1g every 6 months sounds nice - I go through weird phases of not taking any at all, to taking 5g in one sitting, to taking .5g every day for a week or so. Really depends on what I'm feeling at the time...currently I haven't taken any in months...might be time for a refresher
.5g a day is a really interesting feeling...just barely enough that you notice small things like increase in visual acuity or sound perception. I really feel like .5g a day is a dose that makes you more aware as a human yet has no detrimental effects (distortion of reality, etc). Everything seems more clear, precise, and connected. Makes me think of Terence Mckenna's book
Food of the Gods, in which he argues that by eating mushrooms containing psilocybin our ancestors were given a biological advantage over those who did not eat said mushrooms. In small doses Psilocybin increases visual acuity, and Terence attributes this to our success - saying that we were able to hunt and gather more effectively while slightly intoxicated. He also argues that Psilocybin was a catalyst in the development of language - take 4g and then try to communicate and you will see what I mean. Something about Psilocybin begs for language...there are feelings that need to be expressed! If you dont own it already you should pick up a copy - awesome book, and Terence is a great dude.
Sorry for going on a rant about mushrooms lol, but I am one of those people who believes every human should take psilocybin at some point, so when the topic comes up I don't just let it slip away. You should check out this video:

Dr. Roland Griffiths, Professor of psychiatry and neurosciences at the Johns Hopkins school of medicine, talks about his research on Psilocybin. Great video. A good one for the skeptics out there
