thats a great soil, well from what i`ve been hearing, your best bet would be keep an eye on the thread, kang is useing it, and he`ll give you a better idea how long before nutes....

but another 2/3 weeks would be a good guesstamate, the plants will tell you anyways, just watch for a drop off in colour, and remember to start nutes very weak and work them up in strenght and frequency each week.

as for the french, everyone hates the french, i think these days the french probably even hate the french!

im really looking forward to getting started, its something ive wanted to do for ages but i've only recently got the funds/time to be able to do it!

in terms of lights im thinking a 300w dual spec cfl for the time being. for the grow box i got a massive old chest of draws (about 5ft tall!) off freecycle (which is def worth a look!) and i'm in the process of taking the front of the draws off, screwing them to some plywood and making the whole frontage into a big door. gonna line the inside with some mylar a set up a carbon scrubber and a fan system to ensure good airflow!

this may sound like over kill but i've also installed a fire extinguisher to the top pointing down which can be turned on from the outside of the cab. i know it sounds ridiculous but cause of the amount of wood, water & lecky thats gonna be going through the grow box id rather be safe than burn my house down!
 
Been spending a bit of time around the begginers/plant problems page's. Every thread seems to turn into a pissing contest with some poor fucker stuck in the centre and while I'm no expert grower, some of it was fairly fucking dicey... Saw a fella being told his girls would die because they were in coco...

No more bud rot for me anyway. Everything else seems to be safe thank fuck.

Nice to see new growers for the New Year.
 
i've noticed that around a few different places on the site to, at least it isnt as bad as a youtube comments section!

im gonna be a new grower in the new year, literally itching to get started...... that might be the crabs though

bahahahahahaha.... yeah it great to have fresh blood, shows more are sick of paying a couple hundred euro for a bit of smoke, its hard to justify it when you get to growing...


wouldn`t mind the keyboard warriors on here or other sites, after awhile you`ll be able to filter the good info from the shit.. and sure stick about here for any real trouble shooting, some of the best info on the site on this thread, even after we were raped of pages...hahahaha...
 
yeah man, one of the reasons i want to get into growing is just the money you save/increased quality chronic you get just makes it so worthwhile

my main reason for growing is just the fact that supply here is really variable at the moment, seems like the dealers change on a weekly basis. as it stands at the moment i havent had a smoke in nigh on a month cause the dealers keep disappearing. the only one left i know of is this dodgy russian lad who just rips you off
 
yeah you can`t really beat your own smoke, and i think we all turned to growing to cut out haveing to buy from dealers in the street, even thio theres the odd one you might know well, there all stilll in it for the gram`s....

if a dealer isn`t trying to spray the weed to up the weight then there selling 2g for 50 quid, which in todays economy is a cunt when you smoke like any of us would (as in daily tokers)....

Almost right i have palgron royal mix soil and atami bloombastic food, it has enough food for the first six weeks which means about two weeks into flower, i will give mine some pk 13/14 then bloombastic for final weeks, shouldent need any veg nutes at all,

doing a couple of autos next, just put the seeds in soil so they should pop in a few days, my other plant is gonna gert the chop real soon id say end of the week even tho it could go longer, i need smoke and want the next grow to get started, autos are:

1x dinafem original amnesia and 1x dinafem fruit automatic and 1x wos pakistan ryder

happy new year you wont find till its xmas again!
 

  • i use Shamrock potting compost petruska. everything ive grown in it grows like fcuk..

kang imo autos arent worth the hassle brother,too hard on leccy,bulbs,ballast,18 hours a day for 9 weeks takes it out of them.
doesn look like im gonna get much off my two lowryders either,prob about 3 ounces off the two of them.
photoperiod for me from now on,i have two northern light and a sweet skunk auto planted now.
im gonna grow the auto on the same light scedule see how she goes[2 weeks veg then 12/12]
 
k, think al let them grow away until they show me they want fed and hopefully this will be wen they start to flower if not then ill giv them a light fed of something not to sure what yet but it wil only be a light feed as im being told there sensitive to nutes
 
any of you see the huge drop of hazeman seeds new strains on the zon website? about 10 new strains with very interesting names like purple fuck, monkey balls, Coca puffs, purple bubblegum, etc.

and they sold out right away, of course!

the movie lawless is very good i like the guy in it that plays baine in batman hes real rough and handles himself well haha never heard of killer joe but after the good review i downloaded it and i will be watching now in a min when i get an expresso and a joint for it!! happy new year guys

Lol it was very good mate, it started abit slow but when i seen the actor that plays joe i was happy as things in the film started to get very good, the hill billys were prity fucked up and am sure things like that happen ever so often over there? lol. the virgin doll was prity hot and i dident see the ending coming haha

good mix, and go hempy with it, its not hard just make a hole 2 inch from the bottom of the pot, fill to hole with perlite, this is then a "res", now fill with soil and go on as usual, when the roots hit the "res" you`ll see massive growth..


makes flushing etc alot easier too.....

I have no idea what its like, but somethings telling me i need some purple fuck in my life
