How do you make a youtube video link of the video itself and NOT just the URL?

Hey guys, I want to link a few youtube videos but I want to show the video itself and NOT just the URL, HOW DO I DO THIS?


Thanks in advance, you guys should know how its done. I just havent done it in years, so I forget and dont feel like playing with it.

Nevermind, I figured it out, I was using "()" instead of "[]"

open a second tab, hover over the url on youtube, and copy. than come back here, go into your response box, click "go advanced", you will see a link next to the two world icons that looks like a video, click that, copy the url into that box. you can view your video before posting it by clicking on the preview box, you will see the actual video in that one, not the origional you put this all into.

I've only been able to make it work with Youtube videos. If you're trying to post non-Tube videos, your mileage will vary. cn

When you are on the vid, scroll down, to "Share", click it, and when the box opens with the link, right click, copy, and come back here to the dialogue box, and find the "insert video, and paste the link.
When you look, it will still show the link, but once you post it, the vid will be there.

I still find it difficult to post full size pictures or gifs. When I drag and drop into "advanced", it looks good. When I hit preview, it just shows a small, broken, grey box. Good times.

this site only supports embedded vids linked from sites of the owner/admins choosing i think vevo was working before
restrictions in place for security reasons
