Bong and Pipe cleaning...

What are you using for cleaning up your bong and pipes?

I was just soaking in ISO and using pipe cleaners I had been looking for decent small thin wire cleaners and found them today...

they are cheap about 2.99 at wallys

before i got laid off i was using 99% iso propyl alcohol, or maybe some normal propyl acetate.. once in awhile i'd use some methyl ehtyl ketone, but i always hated that shit, super stinky.

those are some nice brushes though. cheap too..

I did read some folks use oven cleaner.. now I thought about this and like the idea.. not that I like the chemicals used but.. they wash off

cannabineer is an advocate of the oven cleaner i know gioua.. like i said, i used to use any pretty heavy solvent, what ever was laying around near the press at the time, and they all seemed to do a very good job.. luckily, we had the highest % of every chemical around, so that didn't hurt the cleaning much..

I use ISO and a bunch of salt in zip-locks for my small glass - shake well. The salt is an abrasive.

cannabineer is an advocate of the oven cleaner i know gioua.. like i said, i used to use any pretty heavy solvent, what ever was laying around near the press at the time, and they all seemed to do a very good job.. luckily, we had the highest % of every chemical around, so that didn't hurt the cleaning much..

alcohol + rock salt + a good shake, works great for me. The more you tune it up the easier it is.

Blue can: butoxyethanol and ethanolamine.

Yellow can: caustic soda.

With either: wear gloves and be like Clinton.* cn
