I love SPT, its my go to stuff, but I also use Oregonism by Aurora (Roots Organics) and I love that stuff. I usually put a little bit of both in my compost teas, and it works magic for sick plants - and keeps healthy plants jamming along at rage force. Yesterday I spent like 15 minutes at the hydro store with packages of great white, white widow, oregonism, and mykos in my hands doing an ingredient comparison. I believe great white has the largest diversity of organisms, but they tend to be a little less concentrated (less propagules or spores/cc or per gram or whatever their crazy measurement is) than the other brands. Given the price for everything I settled with Oregonism (8 oz for $30 vs 4 oz of great white for $55...no brainer in my book). Oregonism has all the main glomus mycos, along with a bunch of different trichoderms, multiple strains of beneficial bacteria, and even one azobacter strain (nitrogen fixing).
Honestly, I would stay stick with SPT, and pick up Oregonism if you are inclined - or else grab Myco-grow from Fungi Perfecti. Anything made by Fungi Perfecti is amazing, Paul Stamets is the man and knows his fungi - so that would be my second choice. IMO Great white is too expensive for what it is...i dont think those few extra strains are going to make a huge difference, then again I have never read any literature on those specific strains.
Hope this helps. Everything is looking great by the way
keep up the good work!!
I wonder what percentage of BMO orders are used for cannabis....
