Best Veg Light

Ok I'm getting to grow 2 soon and it's time for upgrades. Last veg I used a 4x2 T5 and I like them far as electric goes but quality I don't it causes to much of a stretch even when I have 2 inche away. Also it took my plants about 2months to look like some of the guys on here plants that's only like 2-3 weeks. So my question is what veg light can I buy that will not grow me tall, thin, bare plants but will grow me nice bushes and do great on my electric bill?

t5 are very good veg lights from cutting to plants ready to go into flower

mh are the best lights from mid veg to 3 weeks in flower
and hps are good for plants in mid veg to end of flower

seedling and cutting are best to start under t5 as there's less heat and lights softer
young plants don't need a high lum out put

I prefer t5 for veg, moms, and clones. I think they keep the node spacing alot tighter then mh.

(without trainning your plants), t5 will keep the node spacing alot tighter, then mh/hps, as the t5 light is well spaced out, and the light covers the plants from all angles,
but the mh has a lot higher lums, so the plants will grow faster under mh/hps but give you more of a streched plant

so to speed up the plant growth and reduce veg time (mh/hps)

a longer veg time, but better results in veg and a higher yeild in flower (t5)

if you put plants in to flower (12/12) at the same size

This is what I use. http://www.amazon.com/Sun-Blaze-T5-VHO-Fluorescent/dp/B006LZOBNA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1356242004&sr=8-2&keywords=vho+light 4 foot 8 bulb VHO t5. Notice a normal HO is like 50 watt each bulb. These VHO lamps put out 95 watts per bulb. It gets warm not hot.
The lights realy good, if you have the plants to fill the hole 8ft x 4ft in veg and a flower room 16ft x 8ft go for it

but if you have 1 or 2 600w hps lights you could use a 4ft x 2ft t5 ho
you could get all the clones and plants under this, with less electria and heat
