Leaving the light off for 26 hours. Week 2 of flower

I needed to change my times from 6am to 6pm to 8pm to 8am to control the heat as it is the middle of a very hot summer. Temps are fine on a cold day with the oscillating fan and the closet door open. I haven't got the money for a duct for my fans yet and the heat from the 400w is starting to turn the edges of the leaves up,
as you can see in the pic below.

I am 16 days into flower. I used a feminized seed. I Couldn't find many threads on this subject but it needed to be done because the heat is too much.
It's already been in the dark for 19 hours. Will it be okay?

Too late now. Should've just settled in to those times in a less stress-inducing manner. Not just overnight. Plants will be stressed but it won't affect overall yield.
Oh well. I'm less worried about the presence of nanas if they were to show up after reading that thread today but i'd still hate to have them.

I've got my cuttings from this plant rooted so temps should be smooth come the next flowering cycle when i have all my shit together.

Longer dark period will not stress them. I need to change the times. I lengthen and shorten the dark cycle, whichever I need.
Plants are not neurotic people, they don't get stressed as easily as some think. Most of the times it's the growers that are stressed..

Nope..... It's not a problem at all. So what is there to "fix"? I have never seen the proof you speak of. I'm only basing what i say on the fact that I have done it for years and have never had a problem. That's my proof...

The big mistake i made before leaving it in the dark for 26 hours was that i gave it the full reccomendation
of the flower nutrients before it needed feeding and opened the door to N toxicity with the canoeing
leaves and lime green tops

Lucky 2 buckets of water fixed it all within hours.

i think its more important that you get the on/off cycle when u want it so you can tend to em. i had a buddy screw up because he would get home from work as the lights shut off and he couldnt do it in the morning either. I dont think it hurts to do what ur doing but why so long? why not just turn it off later and then do a 12 hour dark cycle after

I have plenty of time on my hands. I do an at home correspondence course.

The temps last night were perfect. I also lifted the light up a tad. I wasn't adjusting it while it was stretching.
