Noob question about trichomes

I have a plant that's 30 days into flowering now and i just picked up a 100x microscope 3 days ago. Ive been looking at all the buds since then and what i found is 90% of the plants trichomes are cloudy with 10% still being clear. I have yet to see any amber trichomes. My question is how much longer longer do i flower? And should i start the 2 week flushing. I'm in no rush to chop her down. It just seems odd that they are cloudy this early into flowering.

...for sure pics will help but at 30 days in she can't be anywhere near done yet.

btw, for me at least, the 60x and the 100x were too powerful for me to use effectively on a live plant, ...i just couldn't hold my hand and the plant steady enough to get a focus on anything, ...for me the 30x is my microscope of choice with a 10x loupe my everday optics.

Damn, I'm glad I'm not the only one with shaky hands.
I prefer the 30x as well.
I even have a nice powerful magnifying glass that I use to peek, then if I want to look closer, then I grab a 30 or 45x.

for under $20.00 you can get a jewelers loupe at 10x or 15x that makes it easy to quickly scan your girls, definately powerful enough for casual work like looking for mites and other pests as well as for checking trich formation, ...frankly, my loupe is what i use 95% of the time.

...here is an excellant choice by Bausch & Lomb that will serve you for many years.

Bausch & Lomb Coddington Magnifier, 10x

Don't even bother checking your trics at 30 days, it is a waste of time. Wait until you start seeing your hairs redden off and recede into the buds. Calyxes will swell, buds will swell. Just gotta be patient. If you are lucky you are halfway through the flowering phase at 30 days... Good luck!
