Node spacing.

Ive been reading up on node spacing of a plant and most people cant seem to agree one way or the other. Im growing 2 Tahoe Ogs and while one is kinda lanky with inch to 2 inch nodes,
the other is freaking tight. Least amount of space between nodes ive ever witnessed. The nodes are so tight that they almost are growing on each other. No space between them. This of course is making a ridiculously leafy mess. So my question being,
Are tight nodes good? And im talking TIGHT! Fan leave growing on fan leave tight. And should i trim out some of those fans?

I wonder if the tight plant might stretch out a bit if you move it farther from the light source?

Plant is about 3.5ft from light source. 2 400w light.
Cant move light any higher..

It makes for some pretty bushy plants blocking the light penetration to the lower growth. It'd be good to do a bit of pruning to let the light in. The nodes will stretch out a bit in flower.

Ive opened her up considerably. In fact she was in a screen (scrog) but ran out of root space and i had to remove her from the screen and repot her. She has since continued growing without the screen. She stands about 10" high and is 2ft wide. Lots of light penetrations.

no. dont touch em until you are in full flower and see the stretch and light pen. to buds. Let it grow. What if it stretches the first couple weeks?Think the suggestion to trim now a stupid suggestion at this point. People just leave it alone.....There is always someone who wants to fuck with the plant for no reason...Let her do her thing until you fully see what she gives...

Node spacing depends on the strain. This tight must be an indica.

Tighter is almost always better. The shorter the internode distances the more bud sites.

Tighter internode spacing means better chance that bud growth will run into each other forming larger buds.

I just measured mine tonight, and it's 12" high, and 17" wide.

Yeah measured mine today.
Its actually 13" high x 24" wide.
She had suffered from rootbondage and temp issues but is regrowing and looking good.
Pics are hard on a shitty cell, ill see wat i can do when i get home tonight

Just measured mine again, when I had to move the lights at 'light on' tonight, and it grew 1"in height, and 3" width since yesterday
