OP, try some better shots...
do you know what a preflower is?? If not, do some googling and find out where a preflower is located... Then, search for some preflowers... take several pics of all preflowers and post them here. I find that I usually see my first preflowers about mid plant, the first node set on the branch off of the main stock.... then they start showing up a branch set higher, then lower.
If there are no preflowers then it is too early to tell. Even in the earliest stages of the preflower it is hard to say 100%... with it being a picture on the web, it will be even more difficult for us.
Don't believe any of the tallest plant, number of leaves, fastest growing stuff... I have grown some seeds in my time and I find that not one of them (that I have heard) holds up. That includes "males preflower earlier" thing. Not in my experience.
