Hey all,
I am attempting to grow two plants (Blackberry strain) and need some advice on how to proceed. The first plant is growing well and was just transplanted to a bigger pot, and my second plant has been ripped at the stem and therefore has not been transplanted. Both of them are in their 5th week.
My first question is with regards to the healthy plant. When should I start using nutrients and what ratio would be suitable for a plant in its vegetative stage? I have used Miracle Grow soil (0.14/0.14/0.14) which I have been told releases its own nutrients at different times (I know Miracle Grow is not ideal but its too late to change the soil). Can/should I still use nutrients and more importantly, is it still possible to produce a substantial yield?
In regards to my second plant (broken stem), is it possible for it to heal itself? I have put a straw around the stem in an attempt to keep it up right but I'm not sure if this is enough. I can't put tape around it because the stem is still too small/fragile.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
