Battleplan: 11 weeks to go --> how to maximize yields?

Hi guys,

I've recently learned that i'll only have 3 month this year to get my "meds" for the rest of the year. I'd luckily bought new seed, thought i would have the time to do at least 2 sessions but it aint happening.

3 battle plan wich one's best?

#1 I've recently seen someone having great result with 12/12 plants on the forum and i thought i might drop a few of these as they dont take to much space and they still can end up being good surprise (i mean if i get 15/20g's of of a plant that wasnt suppose to be there...).
It's my first time working with regular seeds and i was wandering can those be used from 12/12? Isnt it dangerous as far as male detection (sorry for the noob question). --> I like that idea cause it allows me to include an extra strain but this is also the drawback though , i feel like i might have to stay focus on the TGA as i'm growing them for the first time...

#2 Would be to flower my vegging plants right now , get clones on week 1 or 2 of blooming and prepare a second run with those...(I dont really like that option in that i've been patiently mainlining those babies for 3 weeks , wanted to wait the end of the month to flower them and i know a gardner needs to show patience and respect for his babies before anything else... This option smell like commercial cropping to me ;) )

#3 Just get clones (i've got amnesia clones she's a 10weeker but #2 would take as much time at the end of the day)
.
I've got a tent (3X3X6) splitted in two parts, bottom is my night part while i run the lamp 24h on top. I switch the teams every 12 hours.

Thanks for the advices that will be much appreciated!

Have a dank day nerds!

if you have not started the seeds yet I am affraid 12/12 from seed wont work for you, you would have to be extremely lucky to get it all done within 80-85 days as most strain will be between 13-15 weeks from start to finish.

I d go from clone and do a sea of green, more than not enough and give em 1 week veg then flip right away, big container, good light, good environment, you ll get enough meds for the year.

hope that helps.

Cheers man, i was leaning toward that option, getting the clones tonight ;)

I'd also ditch the divided tent idea and buy a timer. More room to flower equals more Meds in the same amount of time.

My advise is to watch The Weed Nerd from Episode 1-103

Sub
Watch them all from 1 to 63 and from 103 to 100. I miss the Q & A to be honnest, will watch the remaining one after my finals at uni.

@SPicy Sativa.

It's actually splited horizontaly, i'm mailinning and keeping it low, i wouldnt gain any romm from making it one part but height...

It got the clones from my friend but htey were in horrible shape, i've popped 4 seeds on the side, will veg them for a week and then will flowert the best looking plants...

Thanks a lot!

if you truly have 11 weeks to go I would not even bother with the seeds, they will not be nearly ready, you should use that space with clones.

Also my opinion was mostly about the 12/12 from seeds I dont have much experience with clones. You should veg your clones 2 weeks especially if they were in bad shape then it will leave you 9 weeks for flowering ...

Also you dont have time for mainlining, simply tie them down.

thus far my autos are looking alright. I'm not impressed with them in any way however. My regular plants Marley Funk, Blue Magoo, NYC Diesel, and Creepers are all looking good. Harvesting the autos in about four days and replacing the space with Vortex, Qurkel, more Magoo, and Marley Funk. I am planning to Scrog the hell out of a couple Vortex, qurkel, and Magoo. Any pointers from the pros?

It's funny that you're the one telling me this when you're the guy that inspired me to try the 12/12 experience. I dont expect to get yield close to yours but i was really impressed with your result on 12/12 from seed and thought any extra weed would be a bonus...

Thanks for the tips :)

querkle is not really a Scrog plant bro...Vortex is perfect...you need a strain with a fair amount of secondary branching and moderate stretch to get the most of the method....i recommend visiting Oriah's scrog grows in the sub-forum......

Thanks for your comment, it's only because you don't have enough time ...

I am actually working to find strain that will allow me to continue 12/12 from seed with only 1 or 2 plants per 600 watts. I believe the seeds I will be getting from my space bomb dude are going to be right in line with my goal. (spacebomb x medicine, spacebomb x spacebomb and spacebomb x NYCD just to name the few that I am most excited about)

Good luck with your quick grow!

I hope I didn't sound like a smart ass for once I was being serious.
As I shot the nerd we moved and expanded and using the methods I redundantly go over were pulling 40 ounces per lamp. 6x a year.
Skipping the veg dosn't speed up or increase yields IMO.

I agree no veg does not increase yield however I think that 12/12fs has some potential with gram per kilowatt hour. (not to mention other benefits like perpetual harvest with only 1 room)

I will keep experimenting with this style and I am also going to veg/mainline a few.

As a hobby grower and as a newbie, this style of growing allowed me to grow so many strains within a year that I am starting to know what I really enjoy smoking.

I have been watching the show recently and I have learned a lot but I dont think I will ever watch all of them! (I started around 95...)

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I now smoke DANK everyday :eyesmoke:

Sir i've got the utmost respect for you, i've learn a lot thanks to your videos and you're the very reason why i ended up learning about main-lining and Super soil etc.

Now i'm not a groupie - i know that people ask you the same question over and over though - i'm a young grower but a dedicated one i get your comment and i am vegging my plants properly and enjoyed the shit out of every weed nerd episode i've watched. (I stop watching them when the show started switching more toward an urban grower type of thing. I liked the q & a format more than the grow room videos - plus your show made me wanna smoke hash all day long hehe)

I'll be using super soil on my next grow and will never gorget the first time i've smoked my first full melt (as you said: thinking you pay 60 euros for a g of that in dam..) so thanks a lot for everything Sub it's an honor.

Now i've learned that 'ill just be able to do a grow in the next 6/9 month. I need to pack as much weed as possible and as you said in the school of dank:"I could walk here or ic ould add a pot here".
I dont have a full room, but if i can add a couple of "one bud" here and there , that's a bonus i'll be happy to have down the road.
Again i'm main-linning my A-13bx and my Kaboom - i must say that i'm really impressed by your genetic so far - I've been a DNA guy so far but yours seems ahead of that. It's too bad european growers arent as educated as the MMJ crowd in the US. I've recently learn about rare dankness and the GGG banks but most guys in europe thing GH and Sensi-seed are the shit. They're cheap seed dont get me wrong but they're arent DANK at all, i wish i didnt lost time growing those damn beans...

I dont wanna ramble for hours you get my message, please keep passing on the knowledge , as you said you gave acces to people like me to dank and that's a beautifull thing! I dont mind to sound like a retarded pt'head when you help people with real pain and suffering I wish someone would make the argument that: "having to hang around dealers might fuck up kids as well" more often. Or maybe that the high prices of cannabis is an other reason why kid end up dealing themself...

Have a dank day!

Thank you Nug, I was curious about the scrog potential of querkle. I had heard vortex would work well and after seeing my magoo and diesel they look to be perfect for the method. The Marley funk I'm not so sure of. The mother plants look like frickin trees; thick stock, lanky big spaced out branches. They have been down right impossible to keep small. I will check out the scrog forum and thank you again for the info. We noobs really do appreciate it.
