Blue Dream 150w hps

Some bagseed bluedream, the bud is the most crystally bud i've bought in awhile and was able to find 4 seeds in my half ounce!

So i got 2 going under a 150w mini sunburst hps

Got a 65w 2700k cfl (300w eqiv) and a 26w 6500k bulb for extra light below the hps ballast
Stays surprisingly cool in there
2 germinating seeds, both germinated with taproots a 1/2 inch +
Planted in a home mixed soil
The Third Green pot is in the back so i know how heavy those pots are completely dry

Their in the soil and more updates when they pop out

& Saw your First CFL grow, even after pulling early that shit looked great man! One of the better CFL turn outs i've seen
this will be first grow with the hps

UPDATE --- Both of the seeds had germinated, one popped very well and the other's kind of mutant looking, so i'll put a picture of it up if it starts looking better. So far i'm counting on this one to make it through to the end.

We'll refer to this as day 1, more updates coming soon

I was thinking about getting a 400w cooltube mh/hps but ended up getting this for like 60-80 bucks. Figured I'll only have 1-3 plants in the closet at a time.
150w should work fine concidering i have tons of cfls for side-lighting

Small update - Day 2

Decided to make another small update since the other (mutant looking) one popped its seed and is opening up pretty normal looking now
Here's the one i updated yesterday, not much new but still looking sexy
And if you look really close you can see the 2nd plant opening up alittle bit! Sorry it's so damn hard to get a pic under that hps, ill get some sunglasses or something

Looking good! And that's a shit load of supplemental CFL. Riding along for this one should get some tiresias mist and make some fem Blue Dream seeds or yourself.

Update - Day 3

My little nigga's are doing swell, the one germinating still hasnt popped. The mutant looking one is normal now so i'll call the first (bigger one) plant 1 and the small one plant 2, and the germinated one will be plant 3 when it pops out of the soil!
Here's plant 1, growing strong. The weird leaf was freaking me out but i dont think i have anything to wory about.
And here's plant 2, finally looking like a normal seedling! very happy it popped up nicely. (It's small because I covred part of the stem with more dirt since it wa stretching a bit)

anyway, after week 1 i'll probably do a weekly or bi-weekly update thing instead of every day just making sure people know that this journal wont be abandoned. so if you want to see what a nooby can do with a 150w hps then stay tuned

There's a product called Tiereas mist or something, look it up.. You spray it on your plant and it will cause the plant to produce pollen sacks.. Through self pollination you'd get fem seeds. There's a lot behind it that I didn't explain since Ive never done it myself but its a proven method.

Update BOIYZ - Day 4
Both doing well, the germinating seed has opened up and i just planted it (hopefully her)
in the soil about 10 minutes ago!

Here's plant 1, getting her 2nd set of leaves out best she can!
And plant 2, looking much much better!

It's odd, they came from the same half ounce and are already growing entirely different.

You should look into germinating with rockwool cubes. Only takes 2-3 days and the taproot will bust thru!

I have grodan cubes, jiffy pellets, and a humidity dome but they're all for cloning. I've gotten 100% success with popping straight in the container i'll be using, thanks for the advice though

Dont worry about ventilation now. You have that fan going, creating air circulation. Since you have an open room, your fan is bringing in "new" air.
