good question......if there is sufficient dolomite in the mix, then you do not need to bring it up......my well water is 200 PPM and 7.4...so if i feel like the R/O and cal/mg is swinging the balance, i would just water a time or two with my well water....when soil growers say you don't need to worry about PH...what they mean is if you have dolomite as a buffer, it will keep the PH around neutral if using acidic additives......but here is the deal....dolomite will not bring the PH back down if you are watering/feeding above neutral.....and growers will get into trouble with this...it has happened to me and others who had unforeseen fluctuations in their well water PH, and their medium became alkaline, thus locking out......Nugs- What (if anything) are you using to bring up your pH after adding the GO Ca/Mg+? That stuff is really acidic.
