well my first attempt at cloning was a total catastrophe

only this one out of 7 rooted.... and it is about 16 days old...

and even this one is in pretty rough shape... problem is the mother plant is 1 week into flowering already.. so id like to make this one work out.

i fed it some Root66 and some NPK nutrients as soon as i saw the root, i also took it out the humidity dome....


will it be ok?

they only need water before the root system is developed, not just its taproot. they aren't even capable of processing it, it just burns them. scratch the nutes, and get some superthrive and good clean water. it might come back to life. you can still take cuts from the mother at this point no problem.

I don't take my clones out of the dome until there are plenty of nice root structure... One root peaking out just aint gonna cut it.

I'm not a hydro guy so it's hard for me to say... But I would guess taking it out too soon was the beginning.... When you take the clone out too soon, you are telling the plant to start vegetative growth but you have no root structure to support that growth... Also, nutes with the one little tap root isn't helping... Should be in the dome getting foliar fed.

If u are going to foliar feed, do so with very lite nutrients.... I use Clomex Clone Solution (not gel) mixed at 5ml/quart. I'd also prolly use the Clonex as the nutrients in ur hydro setup, unless you are gonna put the cube back in the dome - and that's gonna have to be ur call
