Ya there's a fix for cinevia then for that model.
Yea, I'm sure there is, but I don't want to hack my ps3. It's like the only thing I never mess with. I only fiddle with my game systems when there is a need. Like when my ps2 stopped reading discs properly, I had to take it apart and readjust the lens. Still works perfect to this day. As does my original playstation. Yes, I do still have the ps1. I also have the original NES.

What firmware are you guys running? There are many work arounds but I'm not much help without knowing a few things.

Give this a try guys. Works on the new 4.11 firmware

If you want to break the cinavia on the movies you are bootlegging, it is very easy.
1. Download any movie, but get the one that comes in mkv format.
2. Run the mkv file through mkvob.
3. Check the box transcode dts audio.
4. A lot of mkv files are over 4gb, because they are blue rays. Enable split files and choose the size. I usually choose 4000M.
5. Make the type of output file xvid. (I think this option breaks the cinavia protection also. Which means if you do not have dts stereo, you can skip step 3.)
6. Make the output files go to your usb device that is formatted to fat32. You will end up with .avi file(s) on the usb device.
7. Put your usb device in your ofw4.11 ps3 and enjoy.

Or use showtime to watch your movies. Or convert your movies with convertxtodvd.

All 3 of these methods work fine for me

I couldn't even begin to tell you. It's whatever the last update was. My fiancee has control of the tv so I can't turn it on and check.

American Horror Story must be close to the end of this season. It, Walking Dead, Fringe and Revolution are my favorite shows this year...and of course Ghsothunters

Far as Fringe, I think it's gotten better, especially the past few seasons. At first it was mostly a generic monster of the week show like the X Files, then it started getting into alternate universes, different timelines etc with a running plotline. I love that kind of stuff

hehe one great episode had Leonard Nimoy's character in it involved them taking acid and everything turning into a cartoon!
