How valuable is marijuana cultivation to you?

ANYTHING.. that is shared is not controlled 100%

Buddy did a co-op grow once each grower was to pay $450.00 for the materials and then show up to water feed and tend to the plants... people would not show up they expected all the work to be done for the $450 price tag. People bitched and complained about when he cut and how he was taking care of the plants...

Nope. I always grow solo then take the goods to the farmers market and do some swapping. Mine syndrome runs wild come harvest season and mofos start thinkin you owe them shit. A good friend asks me every year if he can rent a spot in my garden and every year im like no!

Even if someone knew about it, like they would have to be my future husband or something and then if they wanted to grow, he can hve his garden and I will have mine lmfao :)
what happened to the captain?

why do you guys have "grow partners"?

I don't live alone but I have my own room in the house. The wife is pretty awesome about my hobby, she rarely smokes too, and just lets me do my thing. I know what it meant to a friend of mine who asked if I was growing because I don't go to his house twice a month and line his pockets. I just laughed and said no, I rarely smoke anymore and have better things to spend my money on. I'm not entirely sure he bought it...

Like a girlfriend it's best to go it alone and not invite a friend.

The person fronting all of the money deserves a good return. If for some reason the grower screws up, either in the actual farming or telling someone who robs the show at the end, the investor loses everything. On the other hand, it is only money. The grower is doing all of the work and assuming all of the legal liability. Just like anything with a partner, it's all negotiation.

Like most, I prefer to tell no-one and go it alone.

Having partners almost never works out. Everything else aside, there are sooo many different ways of cultivating cannabis that sooner or later the amicable parties won't even see eye to eye on how to cultivate it. Like most things you learn, adapt and evolve. And you rarely do it together.

If you are providing the location and doing the majority of the work and the other party is just bankrolling, I think 50/50 is fair. You didn't agree to terms before starting? After this I'd tell him you're done, you're just too paranoid. Then take your loot and start again by yourself and don't tell a soul.

you start negotiations at 50/50 then work it from there. I've had a grow partner for years. in fact, we are getting ready and gearing up to start a big outdoor run soon. sometimes you need a partner depending on the situation.

but anyway, grow knowledge is important. without grow knowledge, how can one be successful? funding is important too but there are many ways to go about receiving funds.

This is a tough one. does the other guy already have all the equipment, and its just not put together in a room? Or are you talking about going out and spending a ton of money on gear now? Are you going to start from new seeds, or does he have a garden somewhere else with clones and moms?

I'd say you'd have to add up all the expenses, power, nutes, co2, all the odds and ends, and take that right off the top, paid to the money guy. Then the rest split up. If its your house, you do all the work including trimming, I'd say maybe he gets 30% of the net product (money left after all expenses).

What kind of garden are we talking about here. A good one, pulling more than 2 lbs, or a small one?

i have 2 600wers that are mine and only mine, i gave him the option to allow me to do it my way and only my way he just has to supply electricity bill and the equipment for his crop which is just 1 600wer, i expect like 20% maybe less due to how high the bill is running and the fact ill be harvesting over 1lb+ and my buyer pays 4300$/lb. i just got offended when offering help on another 3 600wer grow and i expected 7 ounces min for my time and knowledge and thats still low, hes just an idiot who thinks he knows whats up.

The absolute worst ship to set sail in, is a partnership.

Especially in the arena of MJ cultivation.

Go it alone and prevail.

Well after a recent spat with somebody about what a split for a grow should be i wondered how valuable is your knowledge on said plant?

I mean we have people who could easily be competition in your area and we provide alot of knowledge to the "newbies" who could potentially make thousands off of what we know. If someone funded your grow room and you grew the bud what would you expect the split to be? does the person who has the knowledge but lacks funding deserve most of it for their hard work and knowledge or does the person who funds it that lacks the knowledge deserve more?
We grow it as a family, shared equally and no one knows about our grow only you people of course shhh.

lol, its funny cause we both profit, even though i am making like 400% more he still is fine with it, i can also get a half lb for 600, talk about turning 600 into 8,000 in a month max. also my customer base consists of only 5 people. i got a buddy who knows some oil rig workers and they buy qps every 2 weeks and now that im getting more hash my profits will be quite nice, to much money to deal with "legally"
